Is it normal that i change my mind on a career every single day?

Every day. I am 20 years old and I change my mind on what I want to do for a career so often that I just work minimum wage with long hours to rent a bachelor apartment. My mindset is, "how can I spend $25000 on a degree when my mind on what to do changes drastically every day?" What if I discover engineering is my first choice in career and I pursue a business degree, etc. Is this normal or am I a total loser?

this is a issue for a lot of people. Some people have multiple talents and dont like being tied down either.

I have a riddle for you.
How do you divide 17 apples among 16 people?

I'm 19, in college, and pursuing three different careers. Thankfully each career requires the same prereqs, but I'll eventually have to make that difficult decision. One thing that has worked miracles for me is job shadowing. List the careers your interested in and rate your top 3-5, find people in your area who work in those careers and ask to job shadow them. It's not easy, and some will reject you, but it's a small price to pay for your happiness.

I am struggling with the same thing. I've wanted to be a teacher for 5+ years. I've considered becoming an elementary school music teacher, kindergarten teacher, high school economics teacher, sociology college professor, special ed teacher (grade undetermined.) Special ed is currently what I'm leaning towards. However, I'm not entirely sure if the money is worth all the work. I never seemed to care about money that much but everyone around me does, which makes me feel pressured. I've also considered becoming a metaphysician.

You're normal. You're not a loser. You're only 20, and I'm only 18. A lot of young adults struggle with choosing a career.

It is normal. It is so very normal. I am 24 now, and I have found a carreer path that can allow me to work in many different field's where I can get different kinds of dayjobs, that could interest me, and have decided to work on my art, writing and other creative projects on the side. I have started 2 other educations before what I am doing now after I finished high school.

Someone suggests job shadowing. I haven't done that myself, but that sounds like an absolutely great suggestion.

Same, I don't want to really commit myself to something, then discover I don't want to do it, would be a waste.
