Is it normal that i collect peoples hair?

Everytime someone in my family has a haircut, I feel the need to save some of their hair. I also have some of my own from when i've dyed it a different colour. I intend one day to create something with this hair that i've collected.

    omgosh, my ex had a diary with clippings of all her friends and lover's hair in it, weirded me out. and she didn't take it when they got a haircut, she asked them to cut a piece off for her.
