Is it normal that i crave eating vaporub?

i've been eating vaporub, for about 4 months now, i started eating campho-phenique at first, i used it on my cold sores n sometimes it would end on my mouth, i liked the camphor in it so i though it would b safer to eat vaporub, n now im addicted to it, i think about it when im not home n it makes me crave it so much, i eat it everyday, a lick about 8 times a day. does anyone else do this?.
