If I were to be sentanced to life in prison first Id try to leave the country but if I were caught I would just kill myself instead of going but first I would attempt to kill anyone who convicted me to prison in the first place. Is it normal Id rather die than go to prison forever?
I guess it's almost logical, because death is nothingness! I mean you won't feel stress, worry or regret and you wouldn't get hurt unlike prison; which all that stuff is pretty likely!

Free food, free clothing, free gym, free education, good libraries... and lots of good looking men around! I've worked some industrial mayhems that had way worse conditions than any prison and it wasn't the end of the world.
The only reason I'm not in a prison yet is because I morally object any type of crime. But if shit happens I think I'll be alright.
Why would you kill yourself? Speaking from the UK, many genuinely think that prison is a life choice, one to consider rather than being a slave to low wages. You get fed, warmth, video games, books and education. Not all these things are available otherwise. Prison is a place where you can enjoy life with no stresses (at least in the UK).

You must live somewhere where the prisons system is actually effective. Some people here have games consoles and televisions in their cells. I'd take that over death, any day.
That would be pretty tough considering most people who are up for lifer sentences tend to be held in jail through trial and sentencing. Yeah, they thought of this loooong before you did so it's pretty much a non-issue.
The 'not normal' part of this is that you think you're the first guy to think of this and that it's not already a concern that's been taken care of by no bail or flight risk sky high bail.
It's something that's been conveyed on here before. I can understand why.
I would try to break out for a few years and if that didn't work I would kill myself.
