Is it normal that i defy authority/rules by doing things i shouldn't?

So I never noticed this until today, and it is that almost all of the time, when someone (usually an authority figure) tells me not to do X thing, I usually end up doing it anyway (as long as it's nothing very serious), or I pretend to do it (sometimes even if it's kinda fucked up), because:

1. I find it kinda fun to do stuff that I shouldn't do (lmao).

2. I like it when people react when I pretend to do something and then see their faces once they realize it was just a joke.

3. I feel threatened by authority most of the time so I don't like following orders.

I don't know if I'm the only one who does this, but I enjoy doing it even if it ends up being immoral or annoying to other people cuz well, I'm not very normal lol.

btw I'm almost 19 I should probably grow up already.

Seems you are a rebel by heart. Which kind of means - my kind of person. If you are one indeed, trust me, it's a thing for life, you are not growing out of your true essence as a person.

Can you give some examples though to judge upon?

I believe it to be normal because it’s now forbidden and people are drawn toward it do you the fact that they didn’t place the rule. But I think your good just don’t be an ahole about it but if your at a job we’re you get paid to do something then u follow the rules

That has nothing to do with growing up, some people deserve to be fucked with. Obedience to authority isn't a moralistic virtue like people make it out to be.

On the other hand, its fucked up to fuck with people who don't deserve it. Like egging your dick manager at work who's an asshole isn't the same thing as egging an old person who lives alone in a wheelchair.

Breaking rules can be hilarious and therapeutic, just make sure in the event you're causing a problem for somebody that its somebody who deserves it, and you're actually doing a great thing. Rules and morality have no relation to each other, so always vandalize for good and not just to be a dick.

  • What a great age, old enough to do anything besides rent a car or buy alcohol and young enough to not understand the implications your behavior has on both yourself and others

I can rent a car and buy alcohol where I live, it's not like I'm going to though.
