damn..iam Indian but never realised so many people here think that way..You might not agree with Indians on knowing what they want or being more oriented andd focused in life than white people but dont think Indians like western way of life either.But we feel thats just the way you people live and I personally try to see good in people..Dont expect Indians or chinese or any other people to live life like you white people coz India,China is a different world in itself.Peace

I've worked with these people, true. They are backstabbers, opportunistic, and best of all, they are STUPID. They still act like primitive people. So much to tell my whole story but really, I will never forget how these shitty people destroyed my whole career.

It's normal, at least as far as I'm concerned. I never before considered myself to be a racist person... until I moved to an area with a large population of Indian immigrants. In coming into contact with Indians both through my job and at school (and in traffic), my experience has been that in general they are so rude (shady, cheap, greedy, etc.) it defies belief. We're not just talking, "Oh he didn't say thank you," or "Oh, she was kind of short with me." We're talking flat out arrogant meanness. I want to say 9 out of 10 Indian customers who come through the door at my shop are just awful, to the point that I cringe a little bit inside when I see them walk in. I work in a luxury cosmetics store, and you wouldn't believe the antics that are pulled (especially once it's known that we give free samples). My classmates have been a bit better, maybe 4/10 aren't complete jerks trying to get everyone else to do their work for them. Maybe at work I and my fellow workers get the brunt of it because of our "inferior" positions as "lowly" retail employees. Maybe it's because I'm female (though the women are every bit as bad as the men, and often worse). Maybe it's a caste system thing. I don't know what it is, but my dealings with a fairly broad sampling of the culture has seriously influenced my overall opinion of them. Don't get me wrong, I do still try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt, but the Indians around here are making it damn hard when they keep proving the stereotypes true.

I don't give a fuck where you came from; any country. You dine in America you tip the fella! Put your goddamn beliefs to the side and all that bullshit you keep within your own kind. Even Though I am an Indian and have lived in India all my life I think I hate Indians more than you do and no not just Indians I hate all south Asians but especially Indians because they are the most greedy, inconsiderate, manner less, cheap, stingy, loud, hypocrite people. We Indians basically do everything to prove something to others, we study to prove we are good students, we do everything our parents say to prove we are good son/daughter (in reality we do everything just to get parents property). we marry to prove we believe in family, we give birth to prove we are fertile, we buy house and cars just to prove we have money and are doing better than others in life. If you don't have money, family, kids or car than in India you'll be considered a failure and people will treat you pretty much like trash. while driving we don't care about who else is driving in the same lane. we basically don't have manners to drive a vehicle. Indians would open a car door or remove helmet while driving just to spit not considering there might be somebody driving behind them. People would stop their cars anywhere in the middle of the road just to greet each other and talk about their useless stupid life and families. Students here would mug up everything and would get high grades but if you would ask them the same thing next year they won't even remember a thing. I wish I was born somewhere else where I could live among people who would have at least a bit of humanity, morals and manners.

Do you know those people that are good-looking and have some coolness about them, but at the same time are total assholes and arrogant people? It's hard to like them, right? Now imagine ugly and lame people that are arrogant and kinda assholes... Those are the Indians.

It sucks. The truth is that our country owes more consideration to providing jobs to America's indigenous groups, Hispanics, African Americans and the generations of Europeans spanning the last 300 years that have made this continent what it is. Arbitrarily opening the floodgates to Indian labor so companies' stock prices will go up .05% is ignorant and borderline criminal. Our government is just as guilty as the Indian and American entrepeneurs/CEOs who perpetuate this b.s.

We should absolutely be helping Native Americans and 'other' Americans find work. Worst part about our Eastern Indian workforce is that so few of them decide to become tax paying American citizens. They're just here to suck the system...cheat the taxman...take our jobs...and laugh about it when they take that money back to India and send their relatives in their place.

Here's the deal with nearly the vast majority of the Indians referred to in this post as being arrogant, rude, etc. Almost all of them came from privileged backgrounds where their families had peons waiting on them...so they're used that kind of service wherever they go. They don't realize that the average hard working American who washes their dishes has NOT been officially designated as one of their newly adopted peons on arrival to the USA.

Most were granted access to our jobs by a greedy US government that is in bed with thousands of Indian companies that have been provided access to anything fromhey have commercial to government projects...often hiring people (initially) for heart breakingly low salaries - hence the loss of good paying American jobs. Over time, they're granted our jobs at our salaries. They're not superior technologists, cab drivers, or Dunkin Donut owners in any conceivable way. They're cheaper to hire and put up with longer hours, etc. My friend at H&R Block told me they are categorically one of the biggest tax scammers amongst all of the US oursourced labor sector. They're only now catching up with all of the contract laborers that didn't report earnings and claimed that they were subject to some different taxation scheme because of their immigration status, etc.

I work daily with them and heaven forbid, you're ever in a position to join a new company that is managed by Indians, it is like trial by fire. You have to BEG for any information about your new job that isn't readily apparent and their condescending manner is repulsive. I've been on the job for one week and it's always: "Don't you know where that is?" - No. "Dont' you know who to ask?" - No....etc, ad nauseum. They're the a-holes who want your jobs and will stab you in the back, make gossup about you, and do anything in their power (while they have power) to get management to favor hiring other Indians instead of you (or other Americans for that manner). It won't last forever.

As posted above by Wakjob, the incredulous majority of IT business failures in the past decade are directly related to outsourced Indian labor. Their documentation practices are horriffic...everything kept to the vest (unless they're sharing it with other Indian employees). They speak in their native language in the workplace, which is really rude since Hispanic, Chinese, and Eastern European employees usually to their very best to communicate in English and even amongst themselves (with a few exceptions) conduct conversations in English so as to not alienate the English speaking staff in the workplace. I can't stand them.

I never felt like I needed to watch my back since Indians came to the workplace. Oh, and there's always one of them staring over your shoulder to see who you're smartphone contacts are when you're messaging. I can't stand it. Oh, and for anyone who wants to call me a racist - I'm married to a dark skinned foreigner who can barely speak English, I have 3 very close Indian friends, and have traveled twice to India to enjoy their culture. But you can almost be guaranteed that the ones that work in this country were SPOILED brats growing up - and it didn't stop when they went through immigration at some US airport.

The best thing you can do is give them the same runaround that they give you...meaning, document your work, save your email - and when you find they've made a mistake, or worse, lied or exaggerated about you...which they do...wait for them to blame it on you...then turn it around on them by providing the necessary evidence to the contrary...and watch as they recoil and begin the next character assassination...evil evil evil.

It's totally normal i work at a job were i deal with all races i have 200 customers every week and by far the indians are the most difficult people i deal with.When i come to service there homes i can expect to spend twice the time as at a normal persons house and to be followed around.They always trie to barder with you and try to get you to lower the price.They are so annoying that when ever one inquires about starting service i give them the wrong number to my office!

If you are referring to Indians as from the country India, the answer is an absolute YES. A lot of them are real cheapskates. I live in Singapore and recently we see masses of Indians arriving for better job opportunities/ living conditions, and gosh, they behave like they've been sent from heaven and in our country doing us a huge favor. I'm no racist; have many local Indian friends, and even our local Indians can't tolerate these newly imported Indians. Our local Indians even feel discriminated against by them. Of course, if you ask me if there're rude and arrogant people who're not Indians, needless to say, there are. However, we are really seeing a lot more Indians misbehaving in public. An example, just a few months back, I witnessed a well dressed Indian lady who tried to pay her basket full of groceries at an EXPRESS lane at a supermarket, she was told by the cashier that it was an EXPRESS lane, and the maximum items were 5; that Indian lady threw her credit card at the poor cashier, and shouted at her "YOU SERIOUSLY THINK I NEED TO SHOP HERE!?" This is just an example, too many stories, can't possibly report everything. Funny that they think they do not need to follow rules while everyone else needs to. Beats me.

This is a tough subject. My closest friend is Indian, her father was from Bombay. We grew up surrounded by East Indians and their culture. Curry is the smell of my "comfort food".

I loved them all. Until I had to work with them.

Every single time an East Indian comes to my sales desk, we cringe, knowing there is going to be a problem. "You give me good discount," is their mantra. They argue about prices. East Indians will stand at your desk for hours, making you explain over 200 shows, and 150 tours and other attractions and say, "We have to think about it." They demand "free coupons" and when we say, "I apologize, there are no free coupons at this desk,", they say: "WHY NOT?"

Recently, one large family with 7 children (uncontrolled, loud, running around and crashing into people) spoke to my co-worker and said, "You tell me about shows good for families both with children and without children." Co-worker spent 35 minutes with them. They bought nothing, and wandered down the hall. Down the hall at the timeshare table, I saw them stop and saw the clerks pull out the books of shows and tours. One hour later, they were at my desk and the male in the group stated: "You tell me about shows good for families both with children and without children." I said to the guest, "Sir, you just talked to my co-worker for 35 minutes about "shows good for families both with children and without children," and she offered you eight budget-friendly shows."

Maybe he thought I would give him a "good discount" but the prices in the machine are set.

They cut in line, they antagonize other people with their rudeness and self-entitlement. And they won't spend a rupee.

We've learned quickly though. We quickly refer them to a half-price ticket agency, although we offer the same product usually at the same price.

Since we work on commission, when East Indians are stealing our time without buying anything, they are basically stealing money from us.

That's why service workers will do anything not to "assist" the East Indian people.

Lots of them are rude and dismissive.I have a problem with any culture who treats women like cattle.

As a restaurant manager I know that the majority of Indians are stingy with their spending, they are often rude and treat staff as their slaves. They often complain and act with little consideration.. in the workplace they kiss peoples asses and are into power-play. Although I have some good friends, I think that the majority act in a similar manner as they do so, in India, where there is rampant discrimination, little respect for lower castes, gender discrimination etc. Seems like Western civilisation is all too happy to outsource jobs and also subjugate its citizens to increased competition with lax immigration policies.

OMG, thought I was not racist, but re-evaluating! I'm in my 50's, own a lovely home in TX, $500K, lived here for 20yrs. Same neighbors, have changed very little. Did have a young Indian family move in across the street few months ago. Welcomed them, they were friendly but 'distant.' Figured they were young and maybe shy. Well, their yard goes to hell weekly/monthly with weeds, no watering, lawn care and makes our street look bad. Seriously, and the water department turns their water off every month. They get notices from the city about their yard, trash. At 1st I felt bad, as they are young with 2 little kids. But then this....... About a week ago, around midnight, I was still up doing some work and someone knocks on my front door. Was next door neighbor letting us know 'the Indian family' had a guest that backed out and hit my sons car. They were admitting the fact, and offered to pay cash so insurance wouldn't be involved. DAMN, the 'Indian families' guest owned a new BMW, $90K+, scratched/ dented the heck out of her car, messed up pretty bad my sons bumper, 2002 ford escort/zx2 'old trash car' I guess to them. He got an estimate of $580. Called, she freaked... Asked if he'd take it to her body man. Son did, $520. She freaked again and offer $100, ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS!!!!! Son suggested she report it to her insurance, or said he'd report it to the police, she freaked again, said she'd call back. In the meantime, I spokeo'd her. DAMN, she and her husband are neighbors and live in a $1,000,000+ house!!!!!! He's like a VP of Verizon!! Also Indian. She did report the damage to her insurance, they called son. Geez, Jesus, go figure. $100????!!!!!

Try living in India .. This is nothing !!

I love near an area that many Indians immigrate to and I understand. I've worked pizza delivery and they tip poorly as well as having no regard for others when driving, but I can't hate them because once at 2 am I locked my keys on the car and a completely random Indian taxi driver helped me so much in getting them out. They're just like any other people, but we tend to remember and notice the bad things.

I tend to be leery of all people who come from overpopulated, class-structured countries.

Call me racists but I damn hate indian (from india) to bits. They are nothing but a virus that needs to be eradicated. They can stink you to death and they smell worse than a dead cat. They got one of the highest population in the world but over 95% of their population is either trash or rubbish. They are inconsiderate m0ther f*ckers who should just crawl to a hole and die. Indian people are great, especially when you don't expect them to act like white people.

I have first hand experience on how cheap and unfair Indians are! The don't appreciate good work and can't even get a 25cent raise from them. They have family members on payroll that don't even work. They buy hotels and drop workers pay. Don't pay overtime which by law requires all employers to pay overtime. No Benifits or sick time. They either don't pay their contractors or try to half pay them. They want work for free or so low that the contractor couldn't even pay their employees insurance or the cost of their equipment. Most Indians think they know everything and tell the contractors or maintenance man how to do their job. If they know everything why even hire a maintenance man or call a contractor why not do it themselves? If I were a contractor and an Indian wanted a way lower price I'd ask if I could rent a room for $10 a night! I bet he'd say no I have employees to pay and bills to pay! Bingo cheap ass I do as well. So don't ever ask me for a discounted cost. If I were a contractor I'd let you know straight out how cheap you are. And to start yelling at your employees and telling them how stupid they are is reduculous. You might do that to the servants in India but a message to Indians " THIS IS THE UNITED STATES WE HAVE LABOR LAWS" And to say that Americans are stupid and lazy? Look who's keeping your hotels open! We do so if you want our money then so be It But remember who keeps your hotels running. One day your employees won't show up to run repair or clean your hotel or rooms! I wonder how Indian hotel owners would handle that? You lose us you lose your cliental. So appreciate your American workers We keep your hotels operating. Plus give raises and benifits. The are cheap, don't use deodorant, rude, take American jobs, do not assimilate to society, only hang out with each other. Are dumb and lack common sense. I always see them returning used items back at home depot. I dislike them for these reasons.

It's thoroughly normal. I try to judge people individually but it's challenging to ignore commonalities among certain groups,especially if you have a lot of interaction with said groups. I worked retail (grocery, higher-end) for a number of years and found Indians to be the most socially indecorous people I've ever encountered and that's being kind. It was usual behavior for them not to say hi, please and thank you, and to shove items in your face, demanding a price or that you check the backroom for items out-of-stock on the shelves. it was also common for other customers to observe their patently rude behavior and express their criticism to employees. I remember distinctly having a conversation with a regular customer and an Indian woman literally interjecting her body between her and I to ask a question. The woman (regular customer) was speechless! There was every now and then an Indian pleasant to do deal with but not enough to redeem their reputation. As a rule,management and employees made it a habit to avoid any Indians in the store at all cost.

I would say it probably is normal I suppose if you are regularly encountering negative experiences with Indian people. Unfortunately its human nature to box people into categories and it takes battling against.

Personally I like Indian people and socialising on a personal level. However I hate doing business with them (immigrant Indians anyways). Their cultural style of business is different and challenging for white people I think. It appears to me like the Indian style of business is get as much as you can for as little as you can and forget the relationship. White people will be more relationship focussed and more long term focussed and will spend more money for that.

When I was at University I worked at a place part time selling tv and audio systems. Whenever and Indian walked in, everyone would hide and get busy. The reason was that every time the Indian would spend a really long time hassling the sales person to drop to a peanuts price so that we made no commission at all, or they would leave if they did not get that. An unpleasant experience.

Now I am a practicing professional client and every time I have had Indian potential clients they have hassled me to do a job for peanuts and show no interest in the long term relationship with me. I have refused to negotiate my prices with them and have never entered a business arrangement with an Indian person as a result. I have only ever had one or two white people ever behave this way. White people have been more interested in developing a long term business relationship with me to improve their business and they are more interested in the quality of my work They also do not engage in that type of negotiation with me as they don't want to stuff the relationship (like Indians tend to do).

So I don't think its racist, its just a cultural difference. And the business habits and pleasantries of how white people interact on a business level clashes with how Indians do business. We tend to see it as repugnant and offensive. So because you are in a position of having to regularly do business with Indians, I guess that is why you are having feelings of hate.

I very rarely have to do any business with Indians, and because of how they interact in the business sense I try to avoid them. As a result I love Indians! ha

I work for an Indian mid-manager. He meddles with others' work inc. mine, critise it, and put his own name on it. Worst part is he tell his boss that we are sh*t and only he can pull things together. So f**k him.

I work at the mall, and everytime a stupid ugly indian tries to flirt, they don't get it when i'm telling them to get lost. I mean seriously guys, if a girl is not interested in your ugly ass, just move on.

I'm an indian and currently living in india. I'm not saying that i'm a really great guy ( or some best indian) but i would say indians are assholes in india also and i hate them all. I just wanna get out of this fukin country.

I'm Indian, but I'm a fifth generation American. My family has been here for a very long time. I moved to New Jersey a few years ago in the Iselin/Edison area, aka the largest Indian community in the country. I never knew my people before that. Oh my god, I can't hate my own people, but I can understand where other people are coming from. We're cheap, it's a fact. A lot of cultures are, there's no dancing around this fact. But what bugs me is people demanding discounts, throwing stacks of coupons, and swearing that they can't afford to pay the bill, but while doing so, being covered in expensive jewelry, paying with a very large stack of cash, and driving off in a damn Mercedes. This happens so much here. On top of that, I catch them making racist jokes in punjabi all the freaking time. You can afford to buy lavish things, but not to tip the poor waiter who has had several complaints about the temperature of the restaurant, or the noise, probably in hopes of getting a refund. I go to a movie theater in the area that specializes in Bollywood films, and the level of disrespect towards the staff is overwhelmingly upsetting.

I'm Indian too, and even though I was born in a white country, sadly the area I grew up in there was thousands of indians too...it was like bad luck! I absolutely HATE them they are so disgusting and horrible, some of my friends work in the entertainment industry doing promo parties and they tell me the horrific stories of these drunken, roudy, abusive Indian men...and even in clubs, they are basically like the stereotypical black male from the ghetto (I have nothing against black men just using USA stereotype), except these bastards are not from any ghettos and have rich parents! They are incredibly cheap and dirty and infested with STDS. I just can't believe anyone would trust them especially to be in the government, even if they have a great work history they are just never trustworthy the indian culture is all gossip and shameful and barbaric.

I work for a property management company. none of the staff are racists. we have all nationalities represented on our property. we deal with black people, white people, latinos, asians, yada yada yada. the ONLY people out of all of those races that the staff cringes when they arrive, are the indians. a while back i realized i was going down this road with my feelings toward them. and i didnt want to have hate in my heart. even that lyric from the will smith song just the two of us played in my head. "hate in your heart will consume you too". so one day this indian man came and sat at my desk. first thing i said to myself was, jeez we just opened the office 1 minute ago, and there were already 2 indians in the office, because they are usually there and complaining about something. so as the guy walks up i said to myself, this man is about 50 years old, raised a family, has probably bought and sold a house or two, I'm going to give him the respect and attention you would any gentleman. the guy sat down and Woosh, the smell of body odor, and spices. immediately i was offended because he just smelled bad. it was uncomfortable. I didnt want to be rude or make a face so i tried to tune it out. I mean, i wouldnt go to someones office smelling that strongly. its inconsiderate. then within 2 minutes he expressed that the rent is too high, and he shouldnt have to pay full price of utilities. he asked if there were any specials too. We have to process every ones application along with their paycheck stubs. So we know how much everyone makes, essentially. This guy, like all of the other indians (with about the exception of 10 indians who live on the property) makes about $7000 a month working an I.T job....We have families that struggle every month to make rent. blue color middle class american families, black, white, etc..and they never come in asking for discounts and specials, or disputing paying utility bills. These guys who work at these Big Brand computer companies, making anywhere from $4000 a month if they are newer and just getting started, the older ones like this guy sometimes make just under $10,000 a month. and THESE are people that ask for discounts and are always unhappy. We see the americans that live here, struggle to make ends meet, and STILL find a way to take there kids to mcdonalds once in a while. or the zoo or theme park. The indian families, i feel sorry for. the men who work wear nice button down dress shirts, usually with nice jeans or slacks. meanwhile there families wear the same clothes they wore when they first arrived. the women only wear they're traditional indian clothes. and the children wear old, faded, t shirts that have threads showing.and if they have a bike, its very janky and old. they dont go to movies, they dont take family trips, what they do is WALK AROUND THE PARKING LOT. any givenn time of the day youll see them walking. and the woman usually walks 1 or 2 paces behind the man. when the indian kids come into the office they are soooooooo happy to get a cookie from the refreshment stand, because they dont buy treats for their children. when they come in to place a work order, we always here disdain in their voices. They exclaim I WANT TO MAKE A COMPLAINT. so i ask what we can do, and its something very easy to fix. i.e., need a new smoke alarm battery or toilet is clogged or the garbage disposal isnt working (because they pour entire meals down the sink). so i very diplomatically explain, its not a complaint, its a standard work order request. then they all respond the same like this "SURE SURE". it feels like being brushed off. then they always ask, what time will the maintenance man be there. then i have to explain basically, your not the only family that lives here. for being paid so much, for a job that requires a lot of intelligence, they have zero common sense. also, they will come into the office, ask for something, that requires a fee like, breaking out of your lease early, which at any place requires payment of one months rent to break the contract. they will tell me, oh your colleague i spoke with yesterday said i dont have to pay. then i check with my co worker, and they said nope i never said that. and why the hell would they? they know their jobs. my point is they lie a lot and manipulate. I can recall at least 4 times our staff was going back and forth, did you tell them that? why would you say that? i never said that. im telling you indians would slap their own mothers for a 5 dollar discount. OH they always have Cockroaches. since they refuse to buy news clothes, they bring boxes full of crap from india. they stack them in the apartment and within a few weeks, they're neighbors complain of roaches. we have to contact where we think the source might be. and we can tell that they NEVER vacuum. so they have months of food crumbs in the carpet. because they wont spend money on a vacuum. they dont know how to clean, meaning they dont know what lysol is, or just dont want to spend the money on it. so they have dried juice, soda what ever on the counter tops, which attracts ants of course. but to them roaches are like ants, because in india alot of them grew up on dirt floors. one of my biggest pet peves of them is, obviously sub leasing in an apartment is not a allowed........so there was this one apartment. american neighbors all around complained that now they had roaches....these indians reneted an apartment, then in turn sub leased it to 7 different indian guys, who never under went our criminal background check. they lived there for about 6 months. when i was sent to knock on their door and give info on our FREE pest control service, the apartment smelled like dude body odor and spices. it made me spit later because i could taste it. i did my research, curry is very thick when in a gas-sous form. it sticks to walls and clothing. so when they leave we of course paint but thats not good enough. we have to use an expensive machine called an o-zone machine to get that smell out. dont forget, as nasty as this place looked with gross old 4 inch mattresses everywhere, all of these guys worked at Intel. So im sure they could afford a plunger, and a 9 volt battery.

I did strike up a friendship with one indian woman. she was different. close to all of there women do not work, or are encouraged not to work. she on the other hand has a brain so she got into computers. keep in mind, she was told by her parents to go into computers because it pays well, not because she enjoyed it. intel brought her here. I was honest with her and told her how rude i find indians. she said story of her life. it was nothing new to her. she loved america and wanted to stay and buy a house, her family told her america is for making money only. not to live permanently.

In closing it hurts to write this, but also feels good to vent. i feel better knowing im not the only one thinking this. Black people, asian, whites, latinos, whatever, all cool in my book. they get it. none of us are as strong as all of us and follow the golden rule of ethics for the most part. Ive been burnt too many times by indians to see the,m as individual people. its like im always dealing with the same person. they are just rude, entitled, cheap, manipulating. look where they come from, they have a casts system where a shack with a dirt floor is literally next door to a 5 bedroom marble floored house. they treat poor people like animals, and dont share food or anything. GO ONLINE DO THE RESEARCH. Im fine with ANNNYYYYY race coming here, but not idians. If your going to come to the melting pot, then relax and freaking melt a little.

I have met numerous cool Indians here in Canada. However, as much as I'd love to not be a racist, majority of Indians I've met so far are the pure definitions of toxic.

Again, I'm not saying that all Indians are bad, but many of them should really reflect on their awfully low cultural and social standards.

You can't label all of a culture as jerks. Indians have their good and bad just like every other culture. That being said they do need to adapt better. Just because you come from a different type of society you should be aware of others and be willing to see life from their viewpoint. The Indian culture is very different from the west, I know I have lived there. Their culture is filled with love and peace, but they can also be short on personal space. However once you get to know them they can be some of the most understanding and supportive people on earth. All of us need to respect each other.

We could talk about Americans killing millions of people in it's 300 odd years...or we could talk about Indian imperialism and castes killing hundreds of millions of people in it's thousands year history.

I do not have a issue with them beside the fact I can never understand anything past that accent. However as people I have never had a issue with these type of people. They just seem like any other person. However the one Indian therapist I had seemed like a drug peddler but I do not think they are all like that. However where I live I rarely see people from India. If we are speaking of Native Americans I absolutely love the culture.

My experience with Indians is very negative. With few exceptions, they are arrogant, dishonest and cheap. They take advantage of people, think they are superior, don't pay their employees well, and break labor laws without regard to the consequences, thinking they will get away with it. Quite frankly, there are too many of them here in the U.S. They have a country, why don't they just stay there where they belong? Go back to your country!

I try giving East Indians the benefit of the doubt because you know we all have our vices. They're human, and I'm human. But what I've learned is they're all crooked. They'll always disappoint you. Anyone, to trust a Hindu is a fool.

Having the arrogance to claim you have the world's biggest democracy is the biggest joke going. A entrenched class system, stemming from religious beliefs over thousands of years, might explain this truly terrible attitude. Treating everyone they perceive as below them in the west, as sub human peons, is not acceptable. The comical thing, is that they fail to grasp their dreadful attitude, might actually cause resentment with others.

Well.. I treat others how I like to be treated. Unfortunately when you have had so much interaction with Indians over most of your life, they seem to do nothing, but reinforce their own stereotype's. A deep sense of entitlement, and being above the rest of us, and not showing any civilized manners, or appreciation of other people's good will really makes me sick. In the states tipping especially for the service industry, restaurants, etc, is considered extremely important.

The fact they will relentlessly fight with you, attempting to justify not paying any tip at all, and patronize the natives by saying this is justified because they are more driven to succeed and save, only in turn helps to validate people's reservations against them.

Beyond this, another reprehensible thing they do, is constant starring at others, as if the person they are looking at, is a alien from outer space. This is truly awful way to treat other people on a regular basis.

Furthermore, if you work with them, they will not bat an eye lid about ripping you off, stabbing you in the back, paying you peanuts, and never stop bitching about trying to get something cheaper.

Then you see them drive a Mercedes Benz the next day. Which is only bought to justify that they are a cut above the native population, and consequently should be treated as someone special by the local peasants. Then you observe insane fast and aggressive driving, and complete lack of respect for other drivers on the road.

Democracy, meritocracy, civilized values, manners, etc, none of these concepts actually matter to them. Everything comes down to.. are you above the other people around you, if so, then you can ignore the sub human peasants, and not worry about it, since you are much better than them to begin..what a truly dreadful way to look at the world.

There are two different kinds of Indians. Ones from the South are typically more friendlier. The Indians from the North, like the Punjabis, tend to be the worst. I've heard them say that the Indians from the North are generally a bunch of unscrupulous miscreants. Although I'm not from India, I have my reasons for hating them also. While most whites are no different in some respects either. White people are cheap, stupid and they lie too. It's a dog eat, dog world so everyone has to survive. Whites just like to keep up appearances and like to show that they are more civilized, but in some cases they always aren't. The Romans used to portray people from the British Isles as savage barbarians. So where do they now figure they're better than the rest of the world? As if their shit don't stink. I've done retail so I know most human facets. If you embarrass an Indian in front of them by stating the facts, they usually rethink their behavior. There's good and bad in everyone, so don't think that your rules are the only ones correct.

Since I moved to the Silicon Valley I have had nothing but horrific experiences with Indian "business" owners. Before then, I had never worked for them so I was not prejudiced, racist or anything like that. I just accepted the position. Then, the guy started being a major prick. I quit after a year and a half of literal verbal and physical abuse. I was unemployed and finally had an inquiry about my resume. I interviewed, but was dismayed to see it was with an Indian owner. I chose to be fair and not be racist because I don't like that. So, I accepted the job. Well, this guy was just as much a prick! I quit this position after a year while I applied elsewhere. I chose to start my own business and needed additional funds to help start my business. I applied for a position I knew I could qualify right away for. Lo and behold, ANOTHER Indian owner, only this time it was a married couple. Against my vow to Never work for Indians again, I caved in and decided that I refuse to let my past experiences jade my new ones with these new people. I really hoped it would be better. Well, after a month I realized the wife had NO say in anything, the husband wouldn't even let her have an email address or answer any calls from me. He was always suspicious, degrading me, and was very inappropriately asking me questions about my personal life and he even criticized my finances, Mocking me saying, "you live from paycheck to paycheck.."etc. I was in such disbelief that I am set in forever despising these people AND their filthy culture. They smell like feces and are as rude as ever. I figure they know they are low-life and they feel they have to act like they are better then everyone else because of their low self-esteem. I hate them to the core and I was seriously hoping that that earthquake that happened not too long ago, I was hoping it would wipe them out, but those little cockroaches survived. Darn it.
