I didn't go to the prom in high school and I feel like I'm the only who didn't go. Everybody I knew back in high school went to the prom. I didn't go to the prom because I didn't had a girlfriend and it's too expensive. I'm currently a college student. Am I the only one who didn't go to the prom in high school?
Prom is overrated anyway. After prom was way more fun, but still not all that fun. The school dances were much more exciting and they actually turned the lights down. I was never really too into those events, I just tried them to try them and it was fun hanging out with friends wherever. As for prom though...I'd like my money back. It's been 7 years and I still haven't worn that dress again.
I didn't either, me and a few mates met up, got high and drank and watched bad films instead, it was fun but the whole time I knew I'd rather be at the prom with the rest of the school and with someone going with me, the other people I was with had the additude of, nah fuck that lame ass prom shit, but I wonder if they felt the same...
My boyfriend and five of our friends got dressed up (as if we were going to prom) and went into the city and ate at a fancy indian restaurant with a dessert trip to the ghirardellis shop for ice cream.... We partied until 10 am at my house with a 4 am pizza run and a never ending game of risk... It was way better than prom
I never went either and I don't regret it . I think I might have went in a different life but it didn't make sense for me in this one .
Prom isn't the only place where you can get drunk and make a fucking ass of yourself.
I'm in my 80's now. Never went & didn't regret it.
No $$$, No Girl, & living in the woods, no car.
p.s. family had no extra bucks either.
Meh, I never went to the prom. My mother didn't want me to, I couldn't afford the dress, and it seemed like a waste of time to me anyway. I spent that day with my sister playing WWE video games on the Gamecube and PS2. Also a few Sonic games. I miss those days carefree days with my sis. lol
Nope, I didn't go to the prom in high school either. Didn't regret it then and don't regret it now.
Maybe I'm giving away my age here... But I didn't go to mine last week. I kind of felt like it was just another dance with the same people, but this time it's more expensive.
I didn't go either. Mostly because no one asked me and I didn't want to be the dateless girl. I wish I went but it probably wasn't such a huge deal.
I dunno, I went but it kinda sucked. Both my "date" and I were more just there because we would rather not not be there, if that makes sense.
There was chocolate fondue, though.
