Is it normal that i do not like the feeling of taking a shower?

Everytime I take a shower I feel tired and as if I'm about to pass out, I feel weak and exhausted. It is one of the most uncomfortable parts of day for me, can anyone say if this is normal or why do I feel like this?

Try taking colder showers, or shorter ones. I used to shower for half an hour and each time I would feel faint. I take maybe tops 10 min showers now and that doesn't happen to me anyore

Do you have really high blood pressure? I prefer hot showers, but my high blood pressure makes it hard for me to withstand very hot water without feeling like I'm about to have a damn heart attack.

You might have a take shorter showers.

Take atenolol. It helps for anxiety too.

    • My blood pressure is higher than what it is supposed to be, but nothing to alarming. I'll try shorter showers.

I just moved to an apartment with a shower cabin after having grown up with a bathtub. To gauge everything was a struggle for me too, I would often stay there as long as I would when I ran a bath, and that made me feel kinda woozy too. I'm guessing that since showers' temperature stays consistent throughout (and they don't cool overtime like bathwater), the room gets muggy far quicker than one might expect. Maybe if you don't want to take a straight-up cold shower in the winter, you could start off with hot water as usual, and slowly reduce the temperature as you go? I've been doing that, and it really helped with the post-shower tiredness.

  • Then just piss in a bucket and tip it over yourself. That should work.

    • I can try cold showers, I don't think they'll be particularly comfortable during the winter, but it is worth a try.

      • I doubt they will make you sleepy!

I think it!s normal since it might be because you feel sick or just don't feel like showering because it's cold when you get out. Also when it's winter people feel less inclined to shower because of the cold weather I think.
