Is it normal that i do this???

So I do this weird thing where I write on my fingers and write with my shoulders. I have been doing it ever since I was young but now that I have a boyfriend he points it out sometimes. If I see a speed limit sign sometimes I write the number on my fingers. Sometimes if I am listening to a conversation I start tapping syllables and making sure they are even. I also write important words with my shoulder moving them like the letter themselves. is this normal? Does anyone else have this problem? Thanks

    I don't understand the shoulder writing either but we've all got weird habits of some sort or another. I take to cracking each of my individual finger joints every few minutes and counting off letters in my head to see if they are divisible by 3.

    So just a quirk, normal.

    Im not entirely sure how a person can write with their shoulders? Writing on your hand isnt weird at all. I used to have a OCD where I had to count to a pre-determined amount with my fingers before a certain action or timing could be completed. Like I had to make each finger touch my thumb 100 times before something happened, like if it was one minute to the hour I had to touch my fingers before the hour or I had bad luck for the rest of the day.

      I think you roll your shoulder in the shape of the letters, as if you were writing on a wall beside you. It makes sense to me.
