Is it normal that i don't agree with democracy?
Winston Churchill once said "The best argument against democracy is a five-minute conversation with the average voter". I tend to agree with that statement.
If you oversaw a child care center and left it up to a vote on the part of the children to determine whether or not to have candy for all of their meals, stay up late, play video games all day, not bathe and brush their teeth, etc., the results would likely be disastrous. Is your average adult any better at using practical wisdom when it comes to weightier matters such as the economy, warfare, abortion, gun control, environmental protection, and other important issues? I have a hard time believing that that is the case. When rule is in the hands of the people, they will suffer, because the people are foolish, and always have been. When given power, they are like unsupervised children, destined to harm themselves.
Also, if the majority rule, then why should the minority obey them? They still must see their own will done, they cannot be expected to sit quietly in the corner out of fear of the power of the mob. That's what democracy is: mob rule, nothing more. It is not more "fair" than other forms of government, it is just another way to give some people arbitrary power over other people. It is no different than a dictatorship, from the perspective of those with minority views.
What is a superior alternative to democracy? Don't know, don't care. I am an anarchist.
