Is it normal that i don't care about school?

So no one really likes school but they participate, right? I don't, I hardly do anything and I just don't care.
Is that normal?

  • I hated school too, I hate college aswell. I think education has to change somehow, to make it less boring. The way education is now is making alot of people not care about their education. It needs to be more engaging.
Good thing I have eyes and the internet. I improved my grammar far more than I did when I was in school thanks to watching others grammar and reading things online. The way my grammar was before was just terrible.

I don't really have any feeling of care for it either. I just do the work at home and tend to fall asleep in class.

You don't care about school = You don't care about your future

Its not compulsory that if you don't care about school then you don't care about future.

In school you have to conform.Especially Grad. Schools waste our important time, but to get a degree there's no other option.

If somebody can discipline his life and know how to progress in career why not let them do so.

I find teachers stupid, books are better than teachers.

Are you aware of how low the rate of jobs are now? That including professionals and college graduates can't find a decent job to maintain themselves? Imagine how much worste it can be if you have no education at all. The best thing you can do is try to get your education. In my opinion; college isn't necessary but a taking some extra classes (on whatever you chose) is useful.

School was a very mixed experience for me. I enjoyed classes where things were explained well and I learned interesting stuff. The worst part for me was having to deliver speeches and doing role play because I was quite shy and socially awkward. Then again school isn't just about imparting information, but also about learning soft skills such as team work and public speaking as well as socialization in general.
At the very least it should help you to discover more about your likes and dislikes, your strengths and weaknesses and as such help you with making decisions about your future. So maybe try to see what you can get out of the whole experience for yourself :)

  • I'm the same way except I'm that kid who takes all AP classes. I hate school and the pressures that come along with it. It's actually very cruel what school does to a person. It makes them sit in a desk for years and take notes on what the teacher tells you to take notes on. Once you're done with school, they expect you to think for yourself, after you just finished listening to people telling you what to do. On top of all that high tuition rates and college competition has increased drastically, thus more pressure on the students. I hate it! I hate all of it, but I need to endure this hell IF I'm to survive in the real world.
