Is it normal that i don't care who hears me fart?

Yesterday my friend told me that I'm weird because I fart real loud and I don't even say excuse me! I'm a 27 year old male and I fart in front of my wife, my kids, and even strangers that I don't know. I usually laugh after it happens and people look at me weird. When I'm out in public I'll fart real loud and laugh and people look at me like I'm crazy! Is it normal that I don't even care to hold it in and I just fart as loud as I want?
