Is it normal that i don't feel bad about pretending to be a christian?

I'm really really cheap, and I want to go to school for free. This actually has been working pretty well for me, and it looks like I can actually get my bachelors without spending a dime. However, I am doing this by getting all As and by pretending to be from a particular sect of Christianity. Now, I personally do not feel bad about this, but all of my friends seem to feel like it is wrong that I am lying about my religious affiliation just to get scholarships at my college.

...and uh... *pulls out notepad* how are you doing this?
I'd pretend to be a fucking frog to go to college for free. You must share your technique.

    Please.

Well, there are some colleges (christian mostly) that offer scholarships for everyone who has a gpa of 3.8 or higher and does not make enough money to realistically afford college. I have to maintain that gpa, and stay poor....but so far it's all been free.

Really. I guess I'm going to have to hard drive my studies a bit more. I AM an actual Christian (Mormon LDS) so I don't really have to pretend and I can't afford college. I'm smart enough to get a 3.8 but I'm soooo lazy v.v

As far as your question goes, do what you want. You need an education.

I think whats wrong is that they require a certain religion for the scholarship. Fuck em, take that shit and run, How are they gonna teach you science at a christian school though? haha.

Study up on it and make sure you don't swear or get drunk etc or you'll be caught out.

I went for a job once in a Christian organisation, although I was offered it, I couldn't take it as I didn't want to live a lie. I knew I'd be caught out :o(

I don't normally swear or get drunk, so I should be fine there. I've actually noticed that I hold a lot of the same morals that the other students have, but I hold them for completely different reasons.

I am really spiritual, and I am interested in Hinduism and Buddhism. I also believe in gay marriage. I met this really nice girl and she didn't share the same religious or political views as me. I told her I am spiritual, and a believer. Does this count as lying to her? I don't want to offend her or anything.
