Is it normal that i don't go out anymore?

I hardly go out anymore because when I am feeling fat or ugly I just can't handle going out, and I generally feel that way. I'd rather stay at home and watch a movie and eat. I know it is pretty sad and loserish but it's what I've been doing lately. For some reason I feel fat whenever I eat, and since I eat all the time, I feel fat all the time. Is it normal that feeling fat makes me stay at home?

listen. no matter how you look or how much you eat or how much you weigh or any other thing that brings your self esteem down, you still deserve to enjoy yourself, be with people and go out. I believe that I don't need to tell you that the self esteem thing is all in your head. f*** that! even if you are the ugliest girl ever (100$ you aren't), get off that sofa and go get what you want and take care of yourself emotionally.
I know that it is hard and complicated. but the solution is as simple as that. over analyzing is the most dangerous thing you can do right now. just go and do whatever you want .

p.s. stop building you self esteem on insignificant things that you cant control.

Stop eating that much, two meals a day is enough. And start working out, and soon you won't feel fat and gain some confidence.

    Good luck.

well that's bad advice (about the meals). actually, five *small* meals a day is much healthier, and help lose weight and keep your energy.

of course you are. eating only 2 meals a day isn't that much of a risk. Most people, including me, have only 2 or less sometimes. But its just not the healthiest choice for your body. Having more meals while reducing the overall amount you eat is less stressful of a diet than skipping meals.

You've got yourself into a rut but you only live once babeh and you have to enjoy it whilst you can! Force yourself to keep busy, see your friends and if your mind occupied maybe it will take your thoughts away from food. The more you stop staying in the more you'll enjoy it, you don't wanna look back at all the years you stayed in. And as Baz Lurhmann said; Never read beauty magazines they will only make you feel ugly!

I felt the same last summer!
I was too ashamed to go out even for a walk because I was afraid that I will bump into a friend... You should find something that motivates you and start doing work-outs, after you shed a few pounds off your confidence will increase. I wish you the best I know how does it feel like being in this terrible state...
