Is it normal that i don't have any colleges emailing me?

So i'm a senior in high school and I graduate this year. My friends all talked about how all these colleges emailed them and sent mail to their houses wanting them to apply to their school when they were juniors. I never got any mail. I have a 3.8 GPA and decent test scores. I don't get it. I'm part of collegeboard.com, I've always entered my email on the PSAT score sheet, and I even went to college fairs. I'm part of the national academic and french honor societies at my school. I feel like I did something wrong. Even though half the colleges that recruit kids through mail are bad schools, I want to know why they don't know who I am! I know kids who have horrible GPAs and horrible test sores getting mail. What the hell?

I would verify your address because that is weird...that's a good GPA. I'm only a sophomore and I have a 3.7 and im getting tons of letters and invitations from colleges. Definitely check that out.

I don't remember any colleges contacting me without contacting them first. I did get a lot of contacts, though, but I was emailing them and requesting information.
