Is it normal that i don't have cramps or bleed a lot on my period?

Whenever I am on my period, I barely bleed at all. Like literally nothing. On the 1st or 2nd day, it's like a lot more than usual. But then it goes back to "normal" (Which is barely anything.) I also never have cramps, and when I do it's on the first day. For like only 4 hours, then it goes away. Also another thing, it's my friends birthday tomorrow, and we are gonna swim on Monday (Currently Saturday) I've been on my period for 2 days, so when I actually go swimming it would be my 4th day. Since I bleed a lot. And that whenever you swim, your blood decreases by a lot. Is it possible I can swim without a tampon? I hate tampons, so uncomfortable. Also, usually my period goes away on the 4th, 5th or even 6th day. Thank you, if you actually comment or even say if it's normal or not. (I'm looking for girls to answer, not guys. Since guys never experienced this)

Completely normal, but your concern about swimming on Monday totally contradicts your earlier info that you only bleed heavily on the first couple of days.

Also, if you can even feel the tampon once it's inserted you're not using it correctly.

Assuming you meant to write 'Since I dont bleed alot' -
It all sounds very normal. A period is just as individual as we are as people. As long as your period is regular and your symptoms dont vary very much each time, I would say everything was running as it should be. If you are u comfortable with using tampons, then use a sanitry pad, there is no need to feel like you should use one or the other and it is simply up to persnal preference. I have a variety of liners and tampons I keep handy and what I use depends on what stage of my period Im at, as all periods vary in flow - with a heavy start to light end being the most common pattern. If your period is very light, you can get panty liners that are like pads, only much thinner, they may be more comfortable for you.

Swimming without a tampon and a light flow is harmless and I do so myself because the tampon only beco es waterlogged anyway. Just take some panty liners or thin pads with you for use out of the water. You can buy sanitry disposal bags at supermarkets and pharmacies, or nappy disposal bags are basically the same, I recomme d picking up a pack to take with you so you can discreetly ditch your pads/liners, when you go into the water. You can tie the used bags and keep them in your handbag if there are no bins closeby, and then dispose of them later.

"I barely bleed at all. Like literally nothing."

    "I also never have cramps"

"when I do it's on the first day. For like only 4 hours"

    "Since I bleed a lot"

So much contradiction...when you decide whether you do or don't bleed heavily, get back to us.

I rarely get cramps and only spot every 3 or 4 months otherwise pretty much no blood at all.

It could be normal, but you should see your doctor to find out. The medication I've been on the last year (which affects the endocrine system) has changed my periods to be about 2 to 2 1/2 days long and heavyish the whole time, so it varies. What you're describing could be normal but I'd ask your gyno.
