Is it normal that i don't know what to do with my life?

Well, it has been 1 year and a half since I finished high-school. I miss those times so much, all the friends I had and stuff. It's just not the same.And to get even worse I just moved from my city and I kinda lost the focus. I don't know what to do with my life right now. I just spend several hours per day playing games. My family has been through a lot of financial problems, so I can't go to college. I'm trying to get a job, but when I moved, I didn't got my degree on Mecathronics, 'cause I didn't get to finish. Please help me telling what could I do?

    Why hate on the gaming??? Game away.. I find it a good way to zone out and forget lifes problems sometimes...But anyway I'm in the same boat.. The moment you leave highschool i feel like its the road to self discovery.. I was down in the dumps cryin about what i'm suppose to do now, wah wah stuff. I'm 22. THIS! SIR! is the time to get off your ass and discover what the world has to offer you. I got an alright right job workin on the phones.. pays good. I use my money to travel anywhere i want to go. I just bought a one way ticket to california, soakin up the suuuun :) ... Take an adventure! Study abroad! Go back into school, conselours there will be able to help you out with alternate ways in paying for your schooling...Point is, get off your ass. quit whinning about life and start living life! Get out there!

    We are brainwashed from a young age into thinking we must have a direction in life. When 90% of people in the real world dont have any. I belive this stems from people not feeling like they have achieved anything in life so they want their kids to be "successfull" and tell them to stick in, get a good job etc.

    Untill anyone can tell me why im here on this earth, im gona plod along and do as i please. Humains are blissfully ignorent

    Meet some people. Excersize. Finding a job would be a good idea. Be productive in any way you can, other than a game. Hah good luck.
