Success in this world depends on what you know or can do that the majority of society doesn't know or can do. Most professional athletes and performers end up broke because they are uneducated. At the very least you should be very good at math and reading comprehension, especially when money is the subject.

If your talking college then it will be what you make of it if you just slog thru it and don't care thats the education you'll get. If you put in the effort pay attention and network it can be worth what ever its costing to go. If your talking about high school or something that is a waste of time all it teaches you is how to be obedient and follow rules and respect authority its not about learning anything useful. Its all about teaching to the test and useless memorization you don't learn how to learn you learn how to be a good little tool to be utilized by society.

tbh I learned more things from the internet than my school years. The only thing I remember is the times with my friends at lunch break or skipping school. Grin and bare it, you might grow depressed and either think of killing yourself or dropping out, eventually you'll be free to do whatever the fuck you want and wont be imprisoned anymore.

Knowledge is your tool for doing whatever you want to do in a better and easier way.
Education provides that knowledge to you in a systematic manner.
I understand that you feel bored in the class but in your case you have access to internet which can provide you knowledge in a far interesting way.
There is no single way to study. Just learn things the way you like and you will stop disliking education.
