I swear, I think I'm like the only person on the fucking planet that doesn't like it. Seriously! Last time I said I didn't like it to someone, they literally thought I was insane. Like... it's not the fucking best song in the fucking universe. Not even close. I just hate it. It's overhyped, dumb, annoying, just everything about that fucking song makes me wanna lose my fuckin hearing.

    Never liked it either... I know it's one of their most famous songs, but it's lame and overplayed, way, way, overplayed...

    So I spose you like that ridiculous song something about "stir fry" or some shitty crap like that. Songs like that drive me fucking nuts. And why people like it and how the hell they make money off it is beyond belief.
    But to not like a song the Eagles out out is also beyond belief. Are you like 16-18 maybe 20 yrs old ? So it was way before your time ?

    It's normal to have your own personal preferences with regard to music. Every Breath You Take is one of my least favorite songs by the Police.

      Oh dear GYOD that song is played EVERY DAY on this 80's station I sometimes listen to. I think it is in the list of top 10 overplayed songs of all time.

        The only thing more annoying than how overplayed that song is that people completely misunderstand the lyrics, and think it's a love song. It's a stupid, creepy stalker-ass song.

    I never cared for it either. The rest of that album is pretty good but that song is just boring to tears. That song is just about as old as i am.

    It is weird though how some people act like we have an obligation as human beings to like that damn song.
    People once had that same attitude about the 1984 version of the song "We are the world".

    It is one of those songs that one may like the first few times they hear it but then start hating it and soon feel embarrassed that they ever liked it. Similar to that song "hey there Delilah". Many of us liked it at first but then it is like, "Oh gyod what was I thinking."

    Just my opinion here but i always wondered why their song "Victim of love" never got as popular. Highcat, if you look up that sing, it is an actual classic rock song. Not metal but honest rock.
