Is it normal that i don't like people?

Ok, the original title was just to pull you in ha! Truth is people are who they are, people!!! I have just found very recently though that I have been pulling away from people - a lot. I just find that people say a lot of stuff and thats all they say stuff.

I love being around people but I just find that when I am alone, everything begins to feel perfect. Silence is like my new best friend, although at times I find it intimidating.

Maybe I am feeling mildly dissatisfied with the world due to all the big opinions and big beliefs and I felt pulled this way and that and when I am on my own I swim deep into the ocean of my self and leave all the noise - and dissatisfaction at the surface!!!

  • Yeah, being alone is great. I have tons of people who care about me an like me and vive versa but i always enjoy alone time. If you have a forest near where you live go on a trail and find a spot. Thats what i did. I found a curved tree by a creek, i'll sit and listen to the water run and birds chirp. I go several times weekly. Give it a try.

Ahhh silence is the best, I love being at home alone, turning everything off and just sitting in the quiet with a book, or with my own thoughts.

    Don't be ashamed :)

    Lol..
there is a "open-secret" that in life no one want to be lonely, but everyone want to be ALONE"

Its quite normal to want to be alone, take some time, get back your enthusiasm and everything will normal..

Seeking solitude for an hour or so every day or for a few consecutive days every once in a while is a good thing, it gives you time to stop, look around and see where you stand in your life and purify both your soul and thoughts.

On the other hand, I'd rather deal with the worst kind of people and be smart enough to handle them and enjoy life with all of its demerits than living most of my life in a social self-exile. So it's all about how you balance things.
