Is it normal that i don't like songs with bad words or explicit songs?

I don't like listening to songs with bad words or people who cuss a lot because it's not good to hear to be honest! It would be better if a song has no bad words and if the music and lyrics are both nice to hear! It's hard being in the minority! I only listen mostly to instrumental songs... Not everyone listen to every pop / country artist and I don't like it when artists change their genre / image... :[

    I'm the same. Nothing to do with hating curse words. Music with excessive cussing tends to be bland self-absorbed trash or really shallow. My motto is that if you can't get it across in plain english then probably a waste of time.

    I don't like songs with bad words or explicit lyrics either. I won't listen to them or let my children listen to them. It does nothing to uplift the spirit or help human kind be better

    I dont mind it normally if it fits with the song or artist but if it seems like theyre deliberately swearing to try and act cool or portray themselves as cool or tough its just pathetic and cringey, e.g: maroon 5 or miley cyrus

    If you mean you don't like psuedo songs that say "fuck a dick" over and over but are totally fine with a normal song that has in one line, "And it tasted like shit, and then we went to the movies" would be totally fine, then yes, it is extremely normal unlike the pseudo-music who does that crap. If you mean you demand that ALL songs *must* have ZERO swearing, then no it is is obviously not normal, you are stuck up and should remove your head from your ass.
