I've tried shaving, but it itches so bad. So I only do it for special occasions. I know a lot of people think it's unhygienic, but it's such a pain in the ass. Is that normal?
Normal. I don't shave and i think we as woman should embrace it.

Hell yeah! I like to be au naturel. It's not unhygienic, people just say it's more hygienic so they won't look slutty with their bald privates all out there like that. I take a shower everyday so I know I'm fresh and clean. When I'm in the locker room at the gym I prefer that all the naked strangers are natural and hairy. I don't wanna have to see that, especially if I'm sitting on a bench tying my shoe laces.

Shaving down there is awful. It can make you more prone to infections, and it itches like hell afterwards. I trim, but only because my pubic hair gets unnaturally long....
a part of me believes that shaving pubic hair is just another way society perpetuates its obsession with innocence and pedophilic tendencies. however, it's true that extra hair on your body is prone to harboring bacteria, makes you stink more and the like. so, i think it's pretty normal as long as you're not doing it specifically for sexual purposes and to feel/look younger than you are to appear more attractive. i know a lot of women who shave theirs because i feels gross when hair clots in it during your period.

There are proper ways of doing it without the itching. I'm a male and I either shave it or trim it. I don't have any problems when shaving. Google it down so you learn how.
I always shave. And yeah, I guess I'm stupid, I still associate it with being unkempt, even though I know it has absolutely nothing to do with how much a person bathes. I just really like giving oral, so I prefer not to be picking hairs out of my teeth and throat afterwards. It used to make me itch really badly too, but after a while my skin got used to it. Now I shave all the time. I rarely have hair longer than an eighth of an inch.
