Is it normal that i don't tie my shoes?

I don't tie my shoes.

I didn't think much of it when I first began doing this. To be honest, it started because I was in pain when I bent.

Now, I don't tie them just because.

It may sound lazy, but I think it's convenient.

Tying shoes is a waste of time. There are much more important matters to attend to.

What would you think if you saw a man out and about in his early twenties, nicely dressed, clean shaven, not particularly handsome/ugly with untied shoes?

IIFN?!?

I too began wearing my shoes untied due to back pain, then because of 2 bad knees (thanks to hockey & football). For me it's normal.

I don't know if Ive gotten any odd looks because I'm not really worried about what people think and I don't look for reactions or opinions. I do what I have to do with what works for me.

I tie my shoes once when I first get them and they never become untied. I can just slip my foot in and be out the door. They are always snug enough to do what ever activities my day might hold.

If they're a pair of converse shoes and you didn't tie your disgusting shoelaces I'd fall in love at first sight. I love the whole "one odd element look", when everything else is perfectly fine and in place.

  • I tie my shoes once, then I slip them on and off after that. It's interesting, i never thought of how many people tie there shoes vs those who dont. Awesome post.

no, its a tripping hazard and looks silly. i dont untie my shoes when i take them off, i just slide them off and slide them on. sometimes i need to tighten them but thats it, i dont tie or untie when taking them off and on. but i only do this with running shoes. dress shoes are different, you have to tie and untie those, what is the point of wearing nice dress shoes if you just make yourself look homeless by leaving them untied?

Hahah. I'm pretty sure I've witnessed the homeless wearing tied shoes. L.O.L. I do like you. Yut yut.
