Is it normal that i don't use body soap?

About a year ago, I stopped washing my body with soap when I'm in the shower/bath. I still bathe at least 3-4 times per week, and I do scrub my body with a washcloth and use deodorant. I still use shampoo as well. I just don't use body soap because the perfumes in it irritate my skin. I'm not overweight, and I don't sweat very much, even when exercising. No one has ever complained that I smell bad (and I have asked multiple people who said I smelled perfectly fine) and my last physical exam went without a problem, so I'm definitely healthy. I was just wondering if anybody else was similar.

    You can try a perfum-less soap. :)

I did the same once. I didn't use shampoo or deodorant either. I grew my hair out one time and decided it would be best to start using shampoo again, and if I was going to use shampoo I might as well bring back shower gel and deodorant as well. To this day I only use a very small amount of each.

The body is perfectly capable of looking after itself without any products - it just has to adapt, which can take a few weeks but after that it should be good as new.

It's normal. The way you clean yourself is obviously best suited for you and you should continue what you're doing.

I'm saying its normal you don't use body soap because you give a "normal" very good reason not too. They do make organic soap bars. For instance a brand i love is Leap Soap bars. They use organic essential oils no artificial fragrances. Its basically just a glycerin soap.
