At 19, yeah, I think it's normal to feel that way. It's a strange in-between age. Skirting on the edges of adulthood, but without necessarily having all the responsibilities of one yet, and still a teenager with childhood/adolescent years behind you but in recent memory.
I understand the negative outlook many people have on 'growing up' - but you don't have to grow up in that grumpy ole' way! You might get older at each birthday, but don't let it dampen your outlook on life. Do work that you love and be around awesome, positive people and you will love life at any age.
Getting old sucks. No body goes out and does anything or hangs out anymore. Just gets lame, depressing and more stressful. Honestly
Most people feel that way. I don't. I, quite frankly, would rather be at the sheer mercy of the economy and my own stupid judgement than at the mercy of either of my crazy ass parents.
me too :'( when i was 19 i didn't want to grow up .. now i want to be younger .. i am 21 years old
I'm going to be 23 in two weeks... now you guys are making me feel old! Hahaha. No honestly, I say once you get to like 22-23, it kind of gets better because you get more experience under your belt. And, you learn to not worry about things as much. That is if you are single and don't have kids yet. Plus, you usually get paid more once you graduate and get some work experience :)
My fav quote of all time is: We dont stop playing cause we get old, We get old cause we stop playing.
Live long and enjoy life.
