Is it normal that i dont have fb or insta cuz i am prettier in person?

i dont have facebook and instagram because i dont look good in pictures except very rare, i look pretty and better in person but in images i don't always look very good , also i don't have much to share about my life because my friends are very few and i dont want people to know everything happening in my life . i am the type of person who cares about peoples'opinions and if i uploaded a photo and it got very little likes and comments it will affect me and i might get sad about it. but im always afraid on missing out on things since i dont have social media because some people might want to get to know me but dont because they cant find me on social media or a guy might like me but if he finds out i dont use it he might think im uncool and not want to know me anymore. im afraid of what people might think of me but at the same time im happier without social media and more comfortable. i forgot to say my young sister is one of the reasons i dont have social media because she always told me i look bad in pictures. what should i do?
