Is it normal that i dont talk in class because the kids are weird

im not gonna say im the most popular kid in school, but i have a decent amount of friends all of which are mostly considered the popular preppy kids. Im not always loud but not really quiet either. I have this one class however, that i just dont say a word in, not to sound superficial but its because the kids just are pretty weird. like they scream and yell about comic books, japanese anime shows,the robotics club and more rahter nerdy things where as thats not really what i care for, but these kids are just generally weird and annoying as well to the point where it drives me nuts, like my friends actually laugh whenever they see me in my class cause the kids are just so odd. they are all a year younger than me and iv had the exact same class of kids since last year cause of a curriculum difference in my old school. the kids think im awkward and shy but im quiet because i find them rather weird and extremely annoying. like when they tell me im quiet i kinda just want to say its because you people are so weird but thats just mean. its literally a class full of the most odd kids in the entire school so they all are happy to be together and are bffs while im stuck with nobody. I actually couldnt even make myself befriend them if i wanted to they just annoy me so much, like i dont mind if your nerdy but theyre just loud and annoying too. Is it weird that i dont talk because i literally cant stand these kids?
