  • That is the most idiotic question I have ever heard. Of course, it is normal. Sushi is from Japan, and most of the people there use chopsticks to pick up pieces of Sushi. It is the reason why wooden chopsticks are put in your order in sushi resturaunts.

I can't imagine eating sushi any other way.

Would you believe I learned to use chopsticks at the same time I was learning to use forks, and knives? I was a toddler when my dad came back from Vietnam, and I guess he had gotten used to using chopsticks, and he liked it so he used chopsticks whenever we ate rice. I basically just copied my father, and I have no memory of not being able to use chopsticks. 🍜🍣☺️💓🌹

        Huh, that’s fairly unusual Rose.

I can use them, I just don’t because, forks are still more practical I guess.

I just like using chopsticks when I eat Asian food, because it's good manners, and just feels right to me.

Whenever I go to a sushi restaurant they only have chopsticks.
I would rather eat it with utensils personally because I would like to be able to slice them smaller and because it's easier.

It's considered offensive to the chef, to eat sushi with utensils. Also, it looks ridiculous.

Normal. Sometimes if I'm feeling lazy I'll just stab the sushi with the chopsticks.

The one I love the most is tuna sushi. It feels fun to make it from scratch, making it with fresh nori, some rice and some tuna all rolled up.

I quite often make tuna sushi for lunch or dinner since they are rather simple. This is a random unpopular opinion, but I think sushi is better without soy sauce.

True I eat it without soy sauce, I eat it with pickled ginger.
