Is it normal that i eat wood?

So yeah, when i'm surfing the web or reading a book/studying/whatever, and i see.. let's say a toothpick lying 'round i just start munching it.. untill its gone. I eat stuff like toothpicks and icecreamsticks if it gets in sight.
I only eat the small stuff, it's not like imma start biting my table or anything like that.

Dunno if its unhealthy.

At least you're getting fiber... Eh... This isn't normal at all. It's also very dangerous. There was a South American emperor and all he ate was paper. He ended up dying of a impacted colon. You definitely should see a doctor.

I couldn't tell you definitely if its really that good for you or not, but my guess is that its not. While wood may be harmless, the chemicals which they process it with in toothpicks and popsicle sticks probably isn't the best thing to be putting into your body.
Maybe you could try just chewing on them instead, making sure you don't swallow, because who doesn't enjoy chewing on a toothpick every now and again!
