Is it normal that i enjoy digging my fingernails into my gums?

I can't explain it but I really find it painful and yet pleasurable at the same time to push my fingernails hard into my gums almost to the point that they bleed. Is this normal?

    It's self-stimulation. Most people do it. My hot older sister keeps her nails very long, polished (and incredible), and has a habit of tapping or digging them to her lips. Will be sitting at a table with her, having coffee or a drink, and her bend arm will be in perfect position for using her long nails to jab into her full, pink lips. It's sensual as hell..
