Is it normal that i enter college at 25+ years old?

I'm 19 and didn't have funds to go to college so i've decided to keep working and make enough money to pay my education. I think i would have to do that at least 5 years to be able to pay for myself. All my friends are already in college and it's feels so weird to be the only one not in. So, is it normal to get in college at a late age?

Honestly, you should jump in as soon as possible instead of waiting several years. But yes, it's normal to go to college at any age. Keep in mind, the longer of a break you take, the harder it will be to commit to college. Always have a plan. Find out what job positions are in demand, research your career path, and do some soul searching before you decide on a major/degree. I think as long as you have the will power and a plan as to what you want to do and how you want to do it, you'll be okay.

If you live in the US, consider applying for financial aid and other government grants/scholarships. Plenty of students I knew who didn't have help from their parents took advantage of government funds and other scholarships to help them pay tuition. There's always a way.

    Best of luck.

College is for all ages. Go at your own pace.

Try to imagine living in my country, where all education, including college, master and PhD are free! (if you pass an entry exam)

Normal to go at any age, unless you're a child prodigy. Than, that would be uncommon. I am 19 myself, but I probably won't be able to go into a real college until I am 20. While society tends to make it seem like everyone goes to college after they graduate, not everyone is able to. Money is tight for many and college in America is ridiculously expensive.

  • Why not try a community/junior college where one semester is only like $800

I think it's a good plan you have. You see mostly younger people at college, but there's plenty of people from all different ages though. You'll be fine.

There are some people that are in their 40's and over that are just going to college, so there's nothing weird about it.

What's the point of going to college if you're already established? Just to have a shitty paper hanging on the wall.

Yeah, a shitty paper that probably doubles the number on your paycheck...
