Is it normal that i fall asleep hugging a blanket?

I'm a guy and I have a fuzzy blanket that my mom bought me before I left for university that I hug when I'm sad or sleepy. It helps me sleep at night. idk if it's related that I like falling asleep spooning people or if it's childish. Do other people do this too?

    I sleep hugging a blanket and curl it over my pillows as well, it has no sentiment for me just comfortable.

    Yeah, sure that's normal, but if I didn't have a cat I would prefer a teddy bear or teddy bears. My cat and I cuddle all the time, he's the best!
