Is it normal that i fapped to this?

Back in early 2013, I came across this Bolt (Disney movie) fanfic on the internet where there was a minor OC named Kurt (Same name as my first name) that I kinda developed a fictional crush on. Anyway, this Kurt character was a talking dog whose a NASCAR fan and there's a scene where Kurt mourns the anniversary of Dale Earnhardt's death and cries with "tears rolling down his muzzle".

Every time I read that scene, I masturbate at the thought of licking Kurt's tears directly off his muzzle with my tongue as he cries. I talked with the writer of the fanfic and he was perfectly okay with my fantasy and even helped me fulfill it via e-mail roleplay.

Licking tears from the muzzles, snouts and noses of crying cartoon animals has always been a big fantasy of mine and is really one of the only things I can legit fap to. It's been almost 5 years and I still pleasure myself and get all hot every time I read that particular chapter of the fic. It's my favorite chapter of any fanfic I have ever read. Is it normal that I wanna lick a fictional dog character's tears from his muzzle because I'm a furry who has the same name as him?
