If it is your first time, yeah I guess it is understandable that you are afraid. You can always distract yourself by watching loads of movies so you forget about the fact that you're in a plane, or that's what I always do :)

I do that too! It does work great, I also shut the window (though everyone thinks it's cool to loom Down..) once the window is shut i just pretend I'm on a bus :). I like looking down when we are landing not when we are millionssssss of feet in the air lol I have a little freak out if I do that

I got the chance to go to Paris in grade 10, I had always wanted to go, but I had never flown. I cried and panicked about flying for MONTHS before the trip, I almost decided not to go But I realized you CAN'T let that fear hold you back. I flew to Paris with my dad and my friends, we laughed the whole way there, and I made so many Great memories in Paris. Dont sit in worry, just live! Nothing will happen I promise!

Yes, I do this too! lol for me, I just over-think it. I usually take xanax at the airport.. and it helps alot.

It's normal to be nervous, especially as it's the first time. In actual fact, a plane journey is safer than one in a car, although I am informed that this statistic makes no difference as to how frightening it is if you are scared.

I don't like flying because I got really sick last time I was on a plane. I got a virus at the airport, and was sweating horribly the whole way, and then I threw up the moment we touched down. I was then in bed puking for a whole week, and then half the holiday was gone. Bearing in mind that this was in the middle of the Swine Flu epidemic, they didn't even like me being in the country. Luckily I was going to Australia, where everyone is awesome and they don't give a fuck about health and safety. But it still sucked.
I'm going on holiday on a plane again for 2 weeks in a few days, so hopefully I'll be fine and I'll get over it. However, this means probably no IIN for 2 weeks :(((((

I have never flown before, but I have no urge to fly. I am not scared, I just think that flying is overrated and it is probably not worth it. I would much rather ride a train or a cruise ship, and I have also never ridden either one of those.
