Is it normal that i feed cats to my snakes?

I know a girl who fed her aunt's chihuahua puppies to her boa constrictor. I think it's sick even feeding mice to snakes. It's one thing for snakes to kill and eat animals in the wild, but when you put a living creature in a cage with a snake, the animal, no matter what it is, does not have a sporting chance and that's not right, in my opinion.

the thing that i've noticed from people who don't like cats is that they usually have only had an older cat, they have never actually raised their cat from a kitten. if you get an aninal later in it's life, behaviors that animal does are already ingraved in it's brain. this goes for any animal. even if you don't like an animal you should at least respect them.

That Is a crock. I have a cat and two dogs and they all interact as much as each other. In fact if my cat were a human she would have a lot to say - how can you even do this to those poor animals? I don't know what cat you had, but the cats I have had never did anything like that, EVER. You can train them not to scratch, you can also teach them not to go in your house, and, believe it or not you can also de-claw them to prevent them from destroying your furniture. Cats are suppose to be independent creatures. They are not mindless, worthless, or boring. I completely Momonator and iron_napkin.

I'm no fan of them either (tho I do like lions and tigers). At least dogs have many purposes.

dont know its just funny or really sad to see so many ignorant pet racists. just a very few people think the right way here and one of them is a vegan. and what really drives me crazy is to call it cruelty and say its possible to declaw a cat to save the furniture, how sick and sefish is that? if you cant live with all aspects resulting of keeping an animal dont get one! any animal is worth the same and they all have feelings that is a fact you all ned to accept. drawing a difference just because your personal preferences is wrong. a snake needs to eat like any other living creature too, like it or not a snake need other animals to survive thats a thing no one can change. put your emotions away and take an objective view at this before judge about. we could discuss about its right to keept a snake as pet because it will need to eat other animals but then we need to ask also is it right to keep any other animal that will need to eat meat anyways like cats and dogs? the meat for them are animals too, just in a processed form. so this discussion dont would make any real sense. the question anyone should ask him self is is it a real difference to use rats rabbits chickens or piglets instead cats as feeders for a snake? i clearly say no there isnt any difference by an objective view! now we can discuss about is it acceptable to do live feeding or use pre killed feeders. anmal wellfare laws say its ok to live feeding a snake when it refuse accepting pre killed feeders, they also say its stricly forbidden to kill an animal for this yourself! now most will ask why just not use so called ethical correct frozen feeders? is it really that ethical correct make an animal eating allready dead prey wich it never would take in nature? is it really that ethical correct feeding aninmals breeded under very poor and cruel conditions only for the purpose to been eaten by a snake? many of them suffer and enven die by the reason of the poor conditions they are breed, most of them never seen any daylight in her short live and get thrown into boxes or bags to been gased by carbonmonoxide or just frozen alive! both not a really nice way to die i have seen this and it dont looked that nice and funny to me! to the people that say cats make great pets i can say you are right, but any other animal will make also a great pet so that is not a point you can count. better think about the facts i was calling about the frozen feeders and the fact cats are overpopulated so its needed thousands of them put to sleep every week. roaming and ferral cats also do massive harm to the wildlife! so is it really that bad to use some of them as a feeder???
