Is it normal that i feel safer at higher heights?

Well it may sound weird but it's true, I feel safer at higher heights and it's strange becuase I used to have a fear of heights many years ago but now I always try to go to building roof tops and just chill out and relax. I went to the CN tower the other day and asked if I could go to the very top to just relax and they let me! So I sat there for 2 hours just watching the sky line and listen to music. Many people say its strange but I can't stop it. Anyone else have the same feelings for heights?

It sounds like you trained yourself to no longer fear them.

Unless you still feel unsafe at smaller heights which ... in that case, it could be a factor that, at the very tall heights your brain kicks over to a point where it just cannot imagine falling. While at the smaller heights the graphic images of the grounds are close enough to imagine.
