Is it normal that i find big poofy ball gowns attractive?

Since about my late teens I've had a thing for seeing women dressed in big ruffly poofy dresses (think Gone with the Wind, Little Bo Peep, Victorian/Civil War era, 80s wedding/prom dresses etc). When I see a women dressed in a dress with a big full ruffly skirt, big but bow, poofy sleeves etc. I get quite turned on...similar to how most guys get turned on when seeing a girl in a bikini. Even the rustling sound these dresses often make excites me.

I realize that poof is no longer the 'in' thing when it comes fashion, but I don't care...I still find the style very attractive, elegant, and even sexy. I guess I don't care so much if it's normal or not, but I am kind of curious to know if any other guys have a thing for poof?

When I read the title, I thought you meant gowns with big poofy cotton balls attached to them...
I need to get some sleep.

I also have a fetish for sexy women wearing big poofy dresses I always had it since I was little watching Disney cartoons. I wish this fetish is more common. I made a board about this kink on 8chan here's the link for anyone who wants to post there. https://8ch.net/sexypoofygirls/index.html

I share the EXACT same fetish, fixation, whatever you want to call it! Big, poofy, lacy, ruffly, frilly gowns and such, ESPECIALLY bridal gowns the way they were in the '80s. I'm also daily, since the very beginning of high school, in bow ties - ONLY bow ties - heavily starched white shirts (usually white anyway, and three-piece suits, more so with the suits in my working life. Is it normal? Maybe, maybe not, but WHO CARES? Everyone needs at least one perfectly good fetish!

I hesitate to call it a fetish, but rather more of an affinity....since it's not ALWAYS sexual in nature. But whatever the case I've come appreciate it and not worry so much if it's normal or not, as it does make me very happy.

Bridal gowns were EPIC in the 80s and even into the 90s, the same can be said for prom gowns, ball gowns and the like. Unfortunately I can't say the same about the bridal gowns popular today :(

But many of the gowns in the 80s were inspired by fashions from the Victorian and Civil War era, which is also another of my favorite time periods for dresses. It's very unfortunate that the style has gone out of popularity, as women look SO attractive in big full ball gowns.

Anyway thanks so much for the reply, I'm glad to know I'm not alone with my love of the poof. Also interesting to learn you like bow ties, there's another thing you don't see worn much anymore.

And yes, the bow ties. Every day I'm in three-piece suits, heavily starched shirts, usually but not always white, and bow ties, the tie-it-yourself kind, of course.

"Bridal gowns" today are awful! All bare-arms, bare-shoulders, bare-necked, many of them very plain. Nothing romantic at all about them. The '80s were a high water mark for romantic bridal fashion. Nothing quite so romantic as a bride in a BRIDAL gown with a high collar, long, poofy sleeves, a full train over a crinoline, with all the lace, ruffles, frills, and beading you can fit on the gown, AND a headpiece with a full, traditional veil with a blusher.

That would be called a fetish, most people have at least one, I think. Some people are more 'out there' than others, and yours is relatively tame.

I've always kind of been on the fence about calling it a 'fetish' since its really not all that extreme, and is not /just/ purely sexual. But I suppose when one thinks of the definition of a fetish it does fit. The thing that bugs me though is no one else seems to have this particular fetish, so I have yet to find anyone to really share it with.
