Is it normal that i find myself bored at weekends?

So I finished college almost a year ago now and am working a pretty standard office job. I find myself so bored on Saturday and Sunday days! Is it normal to sit and not have things to do at weekends? What does everyone do when they're not doing things?

take a walk, read a book, paint a picture, take a picture, pose for a picture, make a meal from scratch, make plans with a friend you haven't seen in a few months, go to a movie, go for a drive to a place you have never been, plant something, clean something, clean out your fridge, fix something that's broken, paint a piece of furniture a new color, rearrange your furniture, make a collage, learn to juggle, learn something....the options are limitless. Why is this a hard thing to figure out. Turn off your computer and go experience the world beyond computer technology. Unless you googled a how-to guide and are using it as a tool, not just as a means to make time pass.

Now is your chance to read stuff that you didn't have time for in college.

    Yes it's normal.

Unless you have a busy, active social life or a hobby or two to spend your time on, there's not a lot to do.

To change this, you'll have to create your own opportunities. Invite people out, start a hobby, fill the time yourself - don't expect others to do it for you.

I am the opposite. I have tons of personal interests and projects, and when I exit from my office in the evening, that is when my real day begins.
It also have its downsides, anyway. Because of that, I'm growing more and more tired of my job, even if I liked it two years ago when I began, and I just want to quit right now, to search for new experiences.

I think there are SO MANY enjoyable things to see and do in life, that it's a waste to just sit on the couch and have no new experiences when you have the time to do so. But that could be just me.

Technically a week can end any day you want it to. Deep shit right there.

    I've totally been there.

I try to plan at least one thing to do on days off just to get out of my apartment. Usually my fallback is going to the mall for a few hours. Meetup is also pretty good for finding something to do on a Saturday afternoon.

If my friends are busy and my girlfriend is away on a Saturday then I go do some extra hours at work, go biking, gym or sit and play video games. Seriously 1 game on battlefield 4 can easily turn into an 8 hour session for me regularly.
