Is it normal that i find washing my ears slightly uncomfortable?

I find it a bit awkward to wash my ears...can anyone else relate? I understand that every part of the body must be cleansed in some way but the ear is just such a unique valley of crevices that makes ear washing quite involved and it feels tedious to do so. The job gets done but... I'm curious...Does anyone else relate to this?
