Alright so I take birth control pills to regulate my cycles and there's times when I'll forget to take one and I'll have to take it the next day along with that day's pill. Since I'm single and I'm not sexually active, I don't have to worry about unintentionally getting pregnant.
I love medical advice on Is It Normal?, which at one time was reserved for asking if such and such penis size was "big enough".
I am awful about remembering to take those. One every single day?? Screw that crap. I heard there is a rod you can get put into your arm that lasts for 3 years. Now that's what I need. Just put it in and forget about it. I truly hate birth control pills.
Is it possible you'd hate being pregers even more? Really, how hard is it to remember to do one, very, very simple little thing like taking a pill, once a day, every day?
You must be so very, very busy; not five seconds a day to pop a pill? Wow....
Its simple, I just can't remember. Thankfully there are other options out there for lazy bitches like me. I can't even keep track of the little packet of them.
I think it's more that for it to be affective, it needs to me taken at the same time each day...sometimes that can get difficult.
And the act of swallowing a pill might only take seconds but that's often not the issue - I take tablets three times a day and sometimes I forget a dose purely because my routine has differed.
I just take mine when I brush my teeth, but you can download apps to note when you've taken it or to remember if you have.
Set an alarm to remind you, if it really worries you. I'm pretty sure that you're not meant to double dose though, so please be careful. I've never taken BC pills but I know most medications aren't safe to double dose. Please check with your doctor. I would imagine as you're taking to regulate your cycle, missing a dose isn't as problematic as it would be if you were using it to prevent pregnancy.
