Is it normal that i gain weight from this exercise?

I hate sports. So boring! I went out walk for half hour and 2-3 short run in hopes to lose weight, but when I'm done doing those exercise I came back home to stand on the weight scale. The weight scale showed that I gain weight from exercising! Frustrated. I do not do much of those exercises.

When you finish your exercise and get on the scale, you can't lose weight that fast. It takes a long time to see results. But maybe you're gaining muscle? Muscle weighs more than fat. Try exercises that burn fat, stay away from strength workouts. Good luck!

As Ashleyloohoo says, muscle weighs more than fat. Weight isn't a particularly good measure of how healthy you are because you're weighing things other than just fat. Body fat percentage is probably a better measure.

People don't gain weight from exercising, they gain weight from eating 7 times a day.

As for your case, my first guess would be that your scale isn't very accurate, after the running you probably drank some water, also when you stepped on the scale, your foot was expended from the running, and in some cases it affects the scale.

To burn fat you need to exercise with your heart rate at about 80% of your maximum for about 40 minutes.

Weight increase means an increase in muscle tissue. Muscle is heavier than fat.

A glass of water can make the scales weigh up to 2lbs heavier.

Exercise your jaw muscles and watch what you eat before relying on exercise.

Depends on the Exercise. Some build muscle which can make you appear and weigh heavier. Take something like yoga on the side to lengthen and balance you out.

It depends how strenuous your exercises are. I mean, it could be muscle. Muscle weighs a lot more than fat so its probably that ^.^ thats like me... every week at the gym i seem to gain weight...
