Is it normal that i get all sentimental when i hear power ballads?

I'm not a very emotional person for the most part. However, for some reason I don't cry, but I feel melancholy so to speak whenever I hear some power ballads. For instance, that song Every Rose Has Its Thorn by Poison is another one. Yet another is Is This Love by Whitesnake. Then of course there's Miles Away by Winger. Power ballads are one of my guilty pleasures, yet they tweak my inner feelings sometimes. Is this normal?
