Is it normal that i get extremely nervous when someone has a balloon?
So ever since 5th or 6th grade, way back then, I began to get really afraid of balloons. This is not a troll question. I know it sounds stupid, but you'll see what I mean. I am extremely nervous about being around things that have the potential to suddenly make a loud noise, and I feel like nobody else is. For example, I saw Mission Impossible 4 with my friends the other day, and I already saw it before they did, so when I went to see it again with them, I remembered this really loud and startling part where the American Ambassador get's shot in the car and it flies into the lake. I was covering my ears and everyone was looking at me like I was crazy.
SO anyway, there are a lot of stupid people who are careless in my grade, and when one of them gets a hold of a balloon, I always try to walk out of the room or cover my ears, and everyone is like "what are you doing?" and I get embarrassed. The most embarrassing part is when the balloon DOES NOT pop and I end up looking like a fool. Please help this used to not be a problem but now it is and its bugging the shit out of me. Thank you.
