Blackberry's DO tend to attract the skanky-preteen, true (and the business-types; because, it is, by def, a business phone), an that in itself is annoying in the same way that leggings-as-pants, and orange tans are annoying.
In my experience, the blackberry is a pretty pitiful social tool with a subpar interface, however neither of these affect the business user.
My father uses his blackberry for everything, but my bf's cousin only texts on it. She's like 14, it's kind of sad.

Normal. Honestly, kids these days are not using it to it's full potential. It's a busy adults tool, not a social tool. But guess what? The company benefits, so that's all that matters in this selfish world.

You need to meet/see/experience more people. most ppl who use bb's use them for business. disliking a device based on the few people you've encountered who use them is kind of dumb IMO.

Haha wow. I am a teenage girl who uses a blackberry, didn't know I was being judged as a rich dumb bitch. My old phone broke so we reactivated my dads old blackberry because my phone isn't up for renewal yet. *looks at blackberry pitifully*

I hear you man I had a friend like this. I was staying round her house and she wouldn't get off her fucking blackberry. I was trying to play Playstation and all I could hear was the *click click click* of the little buttons and wanted to snatch it off her and throw it out the window. Four weeks later and she's going on about how she hates the thing. MAKE YOUR FUCKING MIND UP WOMAN.

Not only people with blackberrys. I know people with iPhones who spend hours on it. I kinda have a feeling someone is putting a phone in front of you, or perhaps you're jealous. One thing is for sure, this will be more frequent with the technology, better get used to it.

How is it any different than a kid glued to his iphone?
