Is it normal that i hate july so much?

Somenormie here,

I know we're currently at July but now I'm starting to hate July so much, I hate the constant heat which is like 38 degrees where I'm from and it's boiling like a fucking oven and not even the fan helps me stay cool.

July sucks monkey balls and I don't regret that I said that. ( I wish it were Autumn or Fall as some call it as however ranting about a lot it is prolly not gonna do me any favors. )

I like the idea of summer, and I love summer thunderstorms, but I hate humidity in southeastern USA and the heat.

Though I've always loved summer, I've become less of a fan of July over the past few years. I think I'm actually more of a spring person, come to think of it. I typically really enjoy April-June, and sometimes March if it's nice out.

Last July, I was really upset because I had to make the decision to euthanize a dear pet, and though thankfully nothing like that is happening right now (knock on wood), this July has been very stressful so far. I'm not a July fan right now!

I also hate how the heat is usually unbearable in July and August, am not as big on the 4th of July (here in the US) as I used to be, and as time continues to go by faster and faster (which scares me), I hate knowing the year is over halfway over and that my least favorite part of the year (the end of the year; I have a lot of seasonal anxiety around that time of year) is just around the corner.

I love the heat because I'm one of those people who is always cold. It's nice to actually be able to wear short sleeves comfortably without goosebumps.

I like July on the water when I'm boating and swimming at the lake. Mid 80s in the States. Otherwise, I prefer sweatshirt weather.

It’s 17°C where I am, it’s great. Ha ha. I’m sitting outside in the sun, enjoying the lovely weather, birds singing and a cool gentle breeze.

I feel you normie, it’s 36 over here and looks like it will stay that way for the rest of the day.

I typically don’t feel the heat and in years gone by would roll my eyes at drama queens sleeping with fans on during our mild so-called heatwaves.

Watering the vegetables today in the 37 degree sun I had to take a break to sit in the shade and admit for the first time ever in England that it was a bit too hot.

I'm in England too and I am loving the heat, being able to go outside in short sleeves and shorts feels so much better.

I agree because years ago 4th of July was really nice with fireworks shows and parades but now that's all gone and we have those damned kiosks that sell the home stuff. They start shooting them off like June 30 and they're still going. They wake you up in the middle of the night and my dog goes crazy. I have asthma and I have to keep the windows closed in this heat because of the smoke.

Maybe so but they only started recording air temperature in 1889. They know that over centuries the climate gets hotter and colder on its own as well. So its possible in the 2200s that there will be a cold spell. This is because the earth tilts on its axis as it spins. For example the Sahara desert goes from a desert to a forest every 10,000 years according to MIT.

Be thankful the humidity is low that helps.

I should be thankful hopefully I have to endure more of the humidity.

I would agree with you. I personally don’t like summer since I live in a humid climate and even with the air running my house feels stuffy.

I like the vibes in summer, and I really enjoy a lightning show at night, but I’m more of a May or September/October guy.
