Is it normal that i hate leaving the window curtains open?

Idk but I hate it my mom literally can be home all day with the curtains open. I always have to close the curtains even at night. My mom has no problem with the curtains but I must close it. I have no fear outside the window but I feel weird with the curtains wide open

    I open them to let light in. I close them at night. Why have windows if you never open the,curtains?

    You're fine. You just described OCD perfectly. No quick fix to it but you just have to train yourself over time to not care.

    LOL. My mom's the same way. I prefer the curtains closed. I just like darkness. Whenever she comes over, she opens them.
