Is it normal that i hate people behind me?

Okay, right... I hate it when people are behind me, it freaks me out and if I'm ever walking down the street i have to keep turning around and looking to see if i'm being followed or I stop and just stand against a nearby wall waiting for everyone to pass me then start walking again when everyone has gone pass and there is noone else to pass me I'm really paranoid about being watched and followed :/ even when I'm eating I feel like everyone is watching me :( don't like it at all!

  • Paranoia sucks. Some suffer it more than others. But what really stinks is the irony of it all. Really the only reason people would even think of looking at you judgmentally (especially while you're eating) is probably because you appear paranoid and they've become concerned. I tell a friend of mine that all the time. "Why's everyone staring at me?" "Uh, maybe because you're staring at them?" Find a different, more calm mindset and it'll all be okay. Then maybe you won't look weird trying not to look weird. Lol.

Whenever I'm walking and I can hear the footsteps of someone, and they sound quite close I will walk faster or let them past by pretending I'm getting something out of my bag. I guess it's normal, but if it gets any worse, I would suggest seeking a doctor about it, paranoia can lead to depression.

If this is quite recent, it sounds like the early stages of depression, get help!
