I'm fine to go on holidays and things like that, but I've always had a secret hate for them. Whether it's how flambuoyant their accent is, how loud they are or surly, or they just sound plain boring, I have no idea. Is it normal to hate them?
Spanish people are completely useless and unclean. I can tell this because unfortunately I lived there... It's was really bad experience. I didn't expect that these people can be so racist and stupid.
I can't recommend this country for vacations!
Here are a few things that you must know:
- The typical bars in Spain (90% or more)- Very unclean, bad service, people throw their trash and cigarettes on the FLOOR.
- People lives in ROOM all the live, pays a lot of money for poor life.
- Flat (properties) in Spain doesn't have a NORMAL WINDOWS.
- Very expensive for bad services.
- They eat all the time - "JAMON" and "ATUN" haha.
There are much more thing but I'm going to tell them next time.
There are so many countries with good weather that people can visit, Don't go and don't spend your money for this rubbish - Spain. Spain is disgusting!

No, it’s not normal, I’ve been visiting Spain all my life and Spaniards have always been the sweetest to me and my family, always trying to help and always kind and warm. Spain is an excellent country: modern, with very nice infrastructures, full of culture, art, history and every inch of Spain is just so beautiful.

I'm Spanish and every tourist I have met are delighted and pleased with this country that you grubbily call rubbish and disgusting. Though I have to recognize some things you set down are utterly trustworthy. Yes, a large number of Spaniards throw cigars, chewing gums and garbage to the pavement, nonetheless that doesn't happen in the whole Spain. Cities such as Santander, Zaragoza, San Cristóbal de La Laguna or Girona are really neat and spruced, as well as a lot of villages. Andalucía is prone to be dirtier than the rest of Spain. Anyway, Spain is a breathtaking and marvelous country (even Japanese people love Spanish cultural heritage and traditions!). Thus I reckon you just bore an unfair and contemptuous loathe on us and our nature, perhaps inasmuch as your mind is too tight for figuring out how mind-boggling Spain is. Even so watch out, I don't regard my country as the best one, because I love travelling abroad and finding out different and awesome cultures out there, I just allow nobody to tease and besmirch my country by blurting out gross lies and bogus information about it. 2. I lived in Spain most food you buy is cooked in ham fat, which is unhealthy. They probably eat more burgers in Spain than in America and I have lived in both places so I am not just making crap up. The mediterranean diet no longer exists people love to use that excuse and obesity rates are extremely high in Spain I'm not sure at the moment but they have surpassed America many a time.
3. Spain has the highest rate of food poisoning amongst travellers, they have horrible hygiene standards and this has been proven and studied.

I agree with not too healthy food but I am sorry you are so wrong when it comes to judging entire nation by your experiences with some bad apples. Spanish is not vulgar some people may be but many also show a lot of character, culture, manners, kindness and warmth towards foreigners. While I met in Spain people of various kind most were not only clean and elegant but simply glamorous looking and fresh as if they just came out of the shower. I marveled how they manage to stay so fresh serving food for hours ... They also are most helpful and didn't display any annoyance at my clumsy attempts to order food without knowing a word in Spanish. Yes, they talked behind my back but I never have overheard anything disrespectful so I didn't really cared understanding that they think that I also don't understand...However in Canada and USA people will talk behind your back so you hear and they will insult you and think it is OK. Also try not to speak English in those countries and go to a restaurant they will just ignore you, show impatience be rude and insulting. You cannot fool me - I travel a lot and in comparison Spanish people are of higher culture than any English speaking one. I have lived in Spain for 2 and a half years and totally agree. I absolutely hate it here got burgled twice by the dirty bastard people here. They are so annoying! The kids at the school are so thick. My daughter is 7 and in her class they are learning counting to 20. No wonder they are so backward. The only thing good about the country is the sun. I dont have ONE positive thing to say about the Spanish ppl. They are jelauos, rude, loud, obnoxious and racist. The only spanish ppl I can stand to be around, are those few who actually traveled a bit and realized that Spain is not "todo el mundo". They are envious of ppl that have more than them.Yet they are too lazy to work or get a decent education or do something with their lives themselves. Dont go hating others that acheived something just because you have been lazy, burning all your money on partying all your life, while others have been saving. Other than that I think that the men look and act like women. And the women looks like men. Swedish ppl looks sooo much better, and I am not even Swedish so consider that an objective opinion.These people have NOTHING, not the looks, not wits, culture, no good food, no money nothing. I dont understand why they are so proud and patriotic, cause frankly they have nothing to be proud over.Thank god I work in Gib with mostly brittish ppl who are so much more friendlier and polite. Even though I live in the fucking CAPITAL city theres nothing to do, no development, no change, they wont except other culture or food. Everyone here gets fat when they hit their 30 and still think they have the healthy mediterranean diet. You can always guess what they are going to say about certain topics. I mean everyone has same opinion about most things. They do get super jealous when I talk about traveling other places because they've never been anywhere outside of europe or even their fucking country. They are in their small teeny tiny world. I was in Mexico before and I really like Mexican people because they are funny and very nice people. So I think Spanish people should be something not far from them. I love my Spanish family and I love my wife's parents and her siblings. But after I've met some Spanish people, I start to ask myself. Is this feeling is HATE? towards Spanish people. Let me share my experiences why I hate Spanish people (not my wife's family, they are like angels to me). These experiences came from Spanish friends and strangers.
1st experience:
I went to shopping with my wife, on the way back home there were 3 Spanish teenagers on the street. One of them, he should be around 18. He dropped donuts on the floor because he didn't know how to open plastic bag properly or something (but we didn't do anything, just look at dropped donuts), then he just stands next to my wife and crumbles plastic bag then throw it on the floor then walk back to his friends (one boy and girl). This is from Spanish friends I met here in Spain. They fucking don't care about a relationship or even a pregnant married girl. - In supermarket, they take things that I’m looking, move it passed my face, and just walked away like nothing happened. At cashier, they get very close and push me just to make sure that they will pay faster (which never helps them to get faster).
- They are very loud like people from Muslim countries. Their voice are disturbing and horrible. I never find peace at public places.
- The neighbor kids just play football next to my house door (it's indoor space) and let the ball hits the door loudly BAM BAM BAM! every afternoon for 30 minutes, almost EVERYDAY. They knew I was upset with it but the parents didn't care, they just take the kids to play football again, when they can just move a little bit to play down on the next big space which will not disturb anyone. They still remain to play in tiny space to disturb people. What a garbage neighbor.
- At train station, they tried to open my wife’s backpack to steal stuffs.
- They love to push you in the line, or they will just try to cut the line.
- They will steal stuffs I didn’t look. They tried to my stuffs and I saw they teach their children to steal stuffs from playground.

- They park horribly, take 2 spaces of lot and just act like nothing happened.

I have been living in Madrid and I am now studying in Toledo. I am now in an international school and to be honest I have never been more at ease. I had been living in London since I was 6 up till when I was 13 to 14.
I hated being in Madrid, people here presume of being the best and are so fake. I couldn't make friends and the only friends I made they didn't want to continue our friendship because they found a popular hoe better. I could say that my being raised in London caused me not to understand many things here, our cultures are too different.

I feel guilty for once being like this, hating spain because of the bad experience I had but this made me feel like a bully that in the end has no friends. I have come to realise that I am not in charge of anyone and I can't change anyone or anything, the only thing I can do is stay positive and remind myself that there is a future that I hope will be able to be molded by the open minded young people that are coming out of universities and going out to a world that is us.

The spanish kids go to bed around 00, even if they have school the day after... How terrible is that? Kids getting less hours sleep than the average adults in for example Scandinavian countries.. Is it weird the employment rate is so damn hight? Without sleep you won't have any education.

I live in Spain but I really prefer USA cuz I just likr the tipe of life people have there but by the reason I prefer America instead of Spain Im not going to tell lies only beacuse I don't like it. Yes in Spain are a los of people that smell bad but maybe in USA there are peolpe that smell WORST, maybe in America you have a lot of tipes of food but in here yoy have a good quality of Spanish that formy opinio is great!

I can't stand Puerto Ricans in the worst ever way. I can't even begin to find the words in which to get across my disgust n complete disrespect for them. I have TRIED SOOOOOOO FUKN HARD for Soooo many years to be proven otherwise, to try to find GOOD in them, to find some that stand out from the rest....But it's USELESS . And si are they.

I think there is a BIG difference between Spanish people and Hispanic people so please do not confuse these two it is unfair to the people of Spain.
I didn't used to hate Spanish people until I lived in a Spanish speaking country for several years. For the entirety of that time, all I heard was "you white people are rich" and "America should give us" this and "the poor, beaten-down, oppressed native Spanish speakers" that. Then I came back to the US, and all I have heard for years is the constant belly-aching by the illegal immigrants about how they aren't given enough respect, how there aren't enough jobs in the US for Spanish speakers and how American citizens who are BORN in the US "violate Hispanic civil rights" by arresting illegal immigrants en mass (kinda easy to do, since they all hang out at home depot, or pan handle in Wal-Mart parking lots, and fail to produce any documentation which proves that they are here legally. These people wade across the shallow part of a river, shoot at cops is they see them, and hurl rocks at border patrol agents, and THEY claim that THEY'RE some kind of victim. In addition to all of this, these bean-chomping, low-rider-driving, greasy-haired future drug dealers complain about the educational system in the US being "too difficult" for them to be successful in. Apparently learning the dominant language in this country is too much to ask.
Anyone else get a chuckle out of those ass-hats thinking that they're being sneaky in speaking Spanish in the presence of white people? Hell, I hear every word that they're saying- I took the time to fluently speak Spanish, French, Russian, German and Italian. The least that the greaser pack can do is learn the language of the country in which they live, and stop finding some pansy-ass, panty-wasted excuse to not bother making an effort.
What cracks me up about the residents of the colostomy bag of North America (that is to say, Mexico and all points south) is the fact that they parade their children in front of national media (sometimes the future "welfare wonders" are as young as five years old) and have them state that "(the five year olds) are an asset to this country." How is a five year old welfare-bound puke an "asset" to my country?
Hispanics are thieves and a drain on every social welfare program that we have set into place. Here's a thought: if they're so "eager to work" as they claim, have them work, 20 hours a day regardless of weather, for nothing more than a bag of red beans and some rice. Many of them aren't here legally, so they don't, and shouldn't, have any rights under the constitution of the united states. If those of you who are Hispanic don't like that idea, perhaps you should do the right thing.

I have Russian-Azeri heritage, my parents were born there, I was born in the US, so I'm NOT an immigrant. Spanish and Mexican people may be the most unintelligent race ever. When I was in school, I got nothing but A's, and all the other Spanish and Mexican people got nothing but D-'s. The only people who would get A's and B's, we're the black and white people. I don't really have a problem with blacks, other than being a little rude. Why do Spanish people have so many babies, for crying out loud?! Do they ever lose their eggs, or fertility, or whatever? Or do they have nothing better to do but impregnate all the females? Spanish people are dumb.

Lo primero es decir que si, se escribir en ingles y por supuesto hablarlo, pero prefiero que os esforcéis y que lo leáis en español.
Yo he nacido y vivo en España, y no entiendo porque pensáis que los hispanos y los españoles somos iguales. Tenemos diferentes culturas, tradiciones y claramente el acento es diferente; he conocido hispanos y he de decir que la mayoría me han caído mal como me pueden caer mal mis compañeros de clase. No estoy orgullosa ni mucho menos de mi país puesto que como muchos habéis dicho esta el problema de la corrupción que nos da una mala imagen, ojala y se mueran todos los políticos corruptos o por lo menos que acaben en la cárcel. Luego esta la parte de la población que se pueden describir como "vulgares y maleducados", no soy ciega, los veo claramente, y ahora responderme ¿acaso en EE.UU. no hay gente así? Me da la impresión de que solo os fijáis en esos detalles.
Una cosa mas: Como todos en España, llevo aprendiendo ingles desde los tres años, así que menos aires. Y si vosotros no queréis hablar español es vuestro problema, pero pensarlo bien, cuantos mas idiomas mejor, o ¿acaso os pensáis que con solo ingles basta? ¿que el ingles es el único idioma que importa?
P.D. Adoro Gran Bretaña y EE.UU. Y ojala en un futuro pueda vivir en alguno.
Since were on the subject, I don't like how one "foreign" language is shoved down everyone's throats. Yeah I speak Castilian, but I don't think it's right for that to be more or less the only language taught. I also don't like how so much enfasis is placed on European languages like French or German. Back to just one language, this goes for having everything printed in both with English/Castilian. It's not fail to all the people comming here from around the world that speak the other 6000 languages. They had to learn English, and now you include this other language, what the hell I had to learn English, now I have to bombarded with this other one, wtf people? See how that works? The majority of imigrants are from other parts of the world, not mexico or south america or europe but asia africa, etc. where's the teaching of yoruba, japanese, mandarin, cantonese, turkmen, swahili, etc. Why just favorite one language, and they can't even translate it right half the time, i know I check when I see them.
