I hate poor people so much they disgust me.

I think most poor people are bums that abuse the system, they have no incentive to find work, because they live just as good if not better than most middle class working people. It becomes a legacy in most families, generation after generation of bums.

Section 8 housing, disability for kids because they have learning disabilities, mostly because of there poor parenting, Food stamps, free health care, cash assistance, discounted electric, free Christmas presents.

And of course they all have nice cars, smart phones, tablet computers, and a ridiculous sense of self entitlement. This has caused me to HATE poor people.

I wish our government would eliminate all assistance programs so the less important citizens would die off and the rest of us could advance.

    Some of the hardest working people I know are considered poor. If one of them gets laid off (hardly a ridiculous situation) then how are they going to support themselves while they look for a new job?

    The people you mentioned do exist, but I definitely see them as being in the minority, and they are seen as a disgrace by others who genuinely need help from the government, along with pretty much everyone else. I know several people who have recently become unemployed, who have had to turn to the government for help, and who are also desperately looking for a job. Good for you that you seem to have so much security in your job, but that's a luxury many people don't have, and they should have support. They certainly shouldn't fucking die.

    I absolutely despise people like you. You've actually really pissed me off with this. Even if you were right, I'd much sooner want to live in a world filled with bums than with people who would readily want other humans to die just so they could "advance". It's good to know that you determine someone's "importance" based on how much money they make; it says a lot about you. This post is unbelievably vile.

    And I can't help but think that you're an idiot.

        Aww, what an amusing bear!^_^ I wondered if they were just trying to piss people off too, but the post doesn't seem ridiculously far-fetched, and I know a few people who feel the same way as the OP (although maybe not to the same extent), so I gave them the benefit of the doubt. If they are a troll, their post certainly worked on me.

        It doesn't make much sense to me why someone would post this just to get a reaction from people. It seems odd to me. To be honest, trolls just seem odd to me.:/

          Yeah, plenty of people believe that poor people are just lazy leeches who spend their lives rolling in benefits (and a lot of those people are in government, which is just brilliant :/). It's just the way that the OP goes as far as to say they should die that seems like they're going too far; maybe they were aiming for satire or something, although that doesn't seem too likely :S I suppose it's possible that they're being serious, but I'd rather believe they were just a troll with too much time on their hands.

          Good for you for telling them off though ;)

    You are thinking to broad on the spectrum. You should rephrase that to section 8 or welfare. Just because someone is poor, doesnt mean theyre lazy

    And what do you propose we do with the working poor?

    what would you do if you got laid off from your job tomorrow? Can you support yourself for a few weeks on your savings while you found a new job?

    I grew up having wealthy parents but as an adult I have very low income. I have a crappy car and a phone that is about 6 years old. I have never had a smart phone. With the economy the way it is today you cannot blame people for not being able to find a good job that pays well. I also know people who are way worse off than me that are very hard working. However I will admit that I also know poor people who are incredablly lazy and fit what you are describing. That doesn't mean all poor people are lazy though.

    You sound like an asshole. But anyways what poor people have cars and smartphones? I've never seen someone like that. If you're poor you have hard time getting food or you end up being homeless but poor people don't have smart phones or cars.

    What i find funny is that - there are tons of people who i know who are incredibly wealthy who are the biggest scamming laziest bums around ! They have more than enough money for 2 lifetimes yet scam the government , steal from their workplace etc,If you ask me there is decent & scum in every class

        There was quite a similar troll post made a while ago by someone who said that he had a fetish for poor people, poverty was sexy, that "financial inequality and social injustice turned him on" or something hilarious like that (I'd link you to the post but I can't find it. It might have been taken down :P). That post was such an obvious troll, and this post strikes me as being very similar (albeit without the undertones of sexual dominance, otherwise the resemblance is uncanny :P). That was a very long post, definitely longer than this one and it used all the same tell-tale words and phrases. Words like "abuse", "hate", "disgust", "entitlement", "die off" etc. are the sort of gross hyperbole and that OPs always use to try and get a reaction out of people by seeming inhumanly cruel and disassociated (there's also references to eugenics and social cleansing with phrases like "die off and the rest of us could advance", which instantly triggers anger in lots of people). These OPs feign ignorance as overtly as possible because they actually *want* people to correct them and lecture them, and I've fallen for it too many times to fall for it again.

        Because the hyperbole and the general use of language is so extreme, it's really easy to spot once you know it. The OP tries to push all the buttons to make people react, but the harder they try the easier it is to spot them :P

        EDIT: Another tell-tale sign is that the OP isn't responding to defend him or herself. Sometimes trolls respond and sometimes they don't, but if this person really believed what they said they would be definitely be responding and defending themselves and potentially deleting comments from people who disagree.
