Is it normal that i hate the sound of my mother's voice?

Whenever I can hear her voice from downstairs when I'm upstairs (she speaks so loudly the neighbours can hear her) I put in headphones and turn on loud music to drown it out. I just hate the way she sounds. She's loud and obnoxious and when she sings she sounds like she's wailing. It's not that I hate her, it's just her voice I despise.

    i can get annoyed by my mom for sure. but not by my mom's singing. she sounds great. way softer and sweeter than her speaking voice.

    Yes it's normal. It's the voice that yells at you to get up I the morning, or tells you to do chores.

    I get that feeling. My mom is equally annoying 90% of the time. But I still love her.
